Nearing the end of HIGHGRND WEEK, HIGHGRND has announced that HIGHGRND RADIO will be making a comeback, this time with its own Dash Radio channel! The channel will open in April and will be showcasing music of the HIGHGRND artists as well as “programming that features Korean artists and culture to an international audience”. Exciting! For a taste of what’s to come, check out @highgrndradio for a recording and transcript of the first episode (or prologue, rather) of HIGHGRND RADIO, broadcasted back in January.

Epik High toured in Manila in April,2015 . This interview was released January 2016, some timing within this interview is related to things that happened last year.

Pulp: What has changed for Epik High since you signed with YG Entertainment ?  How has the group grown since then? Tablo: YG came to us just when we needed them. We were lost direction wise. Also we went through some rough times before that so we weren’t very confident . During the last four years they’ve supported us through a lot of hardships. Now we’re where we are, which is awesome. YG is an awesome company. Pulp: What do you think is the most important element in Epik High’s music? Tukutz: Tablo Pulp (to Tablo): Do you agree? Tablo (shakes head): I think the most important element would be first of all, Mithra’s sexy voice. He is the T.O.P of Epik High Mithra (To Tablo in korean) What are you saying? Tablo: His (Mithra’s) voice and Dj Tukutz’s hands – the hands that are making the beats , scratching, touching his face. [ Tablo and Tukutz smile and shake hands in agreement]
