Personally i relate most with Tweak design wise lol lmk who yall like the best or relate to :3c
They all have different design elements that either share something about their past or connect them to another octonaut ^v^ whether its gifted items or just similar design patterns :3
Such as Barnacles, Kwazii, Peso, and Dashi having similar tops
Dashi has a somrwhat similar bag to Shellie
Kwazii and Barnacles have similar clasps for their clothes and the circle on Kwaziis belt matches Barnacles
Peso has a sort of similar shoulder pattern as Barnacles and belt buckle like Kwazii

He has a charm from Kwazii so that hed "always have wind in his sails while traveling the seven seas"
The blue scarf around the charm on his belt is actually one of his polar bear cub scout scarves :3
His pouch has fish biscuits, some medical supplies, and... some water proof paper and a pencil? I guess for writing his ideas down (mission ideas or poems you decide)
Lots of squares to show him as reliable, soft curled hair/fur for a softer look :3.
Theres buttons on the side of hiw octocompass so he doesnt struggle with the (normal sized but small for him) screen 😭
Walks very quietly???? Hes very large but so SO quiet... hes even spooked Tweak once!
He would look at his closet EVERY single morning and see some theatrical and fun colorful outfits and genuinely look between them before CHOOSING HIS SAME BLUE UNIFORM EVERY SINGLE TIME. Hes too autistic guys we cant stop him.
He has paw prints on the bottom of his boots
Kwazii
The main change with Kwaziis designs was to change his pants to match his cultural wear he'd prefer anyways (Split Tail Clan) :3
The cloth wrap on his arm is to hide his tattoo to appear friendlier and the cloth wrap on his waist is an old pirate way of storing things on ya without pockets and havin a lil more protection.
And ofc he has the same kind of apatite charms as Barnacles lol

His curls are more defined and he has a few lynx touches with his fur lol
Added beads holding his hair back for a better sillhouette
He has the sash with the octonauts symbol on his chest because many pirates with leading roles would wear sashes with their crews golden crest as a clasp

Dashi:
long dog, daschund... so i decided to make her hair and fur longer too! The stripes on her wetsuit helps to accentuate it too lol
Shes got a cute bubbly aesthetic! So lets give her bubble beads for her hair :3 and she has different tie, ribbon,colored nails, and hair clip accessories <3 swaps out hairstyles too lol, even dying her hair with Tweak sometimes
Shes made alot of bracelets with her sister :3
gave her a lil camera bag!!!
Also she wears contacts but on the days she doesnt she has round pink glasses
her tail is longer woth a stronger sillhoutte now, all the better for clearler wagging!
More organic lines for her clothes to show her having a calmer and more controlled personality
But i wanted her fashionable whimsy to still be " uniform aesthetic" hence the different ties and bows she has eith her collar, she had been nervous about it when joining but Barnacles complimented her and it felt her feel alot more accepted and welcomed
Peso:
HE IS A STOCKY SLEEPER BUILD PENGUIN. EVERYONE SEES HIM AS A CUTE LITTLE GUY BUT BY PENGUIN STANDARDS HES MOVIE STAR HANDSOME. OKAY? OKAY!
he has two medical pouches on his belt and then his seperate medical kit lol. He likes to be prepared!
He gets scratched/ bit from the animals he helps so over the years he slowly gets different little scars on his flippers
Fish patterns! He loves cute stuff! Plushies, homemade stickers, and fish decor!
Changed his hair style for a more unique sillhouette :3 also the cheek color? Thats NAWT natural lmfao 😭
He has lil talon hands under his flipper feathers
Tweak:
She doesnt have the same pony tail anymore even tho she totally canonically had it for some time, but it was hard with her ears 😭
Dyed bright gren hair but it fades all the time lmfao
She wears a wetsuit under her mechanic suit (like the other nonmarine mammals do) to protect her fur some and keep warm in case she has to go out lol
I forgot to draw her tools but theyre there guys i promise 😭
Btw! Her Pa actually stitched this mechanic suit for her! Between the flower print and the cut and material it was mafe with alot of love. Much more sensory friendly and confortsble :3

So! He has longer hsir and teo longer front pieces of hsir cuz i HAVE FREEEE WILLLL AND IT LOOKSS NICE! Also hair cuts are sensory bad for him
his clothes are looser to not just be comfier but also because hes just a lil guy
U dont see it with him at the moment but he is often seen with his cane on land. Has an easier time swimming but has a hard time standing or running
He has little patches on his clothes of chivi versions of the vegimals!!! Peso adesigned them and he and they vegimals made it for Shellington! He has it on ALL his pants
he forgets pencils in his hair sometimes and will do half up half down styles depending on his mood
he has an ugly sweater collection
The bits of brown fur on the sides of his face is their fur equivalent of sideburns btw lmfao
