GONE WITH THE WIND

“We’re going to be leaving in a few minutes, but before we do…I wanted to make sure you finished that paperwork.”  She leaned in and raised her eyebrows, “You did finish it, right?”

grimmjow snorts and drops down into a squat besides him, chin casually resting on a fist.  it’s been a minute since he was last here; it’s not like he doesn’t have a habit of disappearing and reappearing randomly without a word, but usually he doesn’t disappear for more than about a week or so.

“hueco mundo–had some shit i hadda deal with,” with aizen gone, it seems like everybody wants to test their luck and expand their territories–which, normally grimmjow doesn’t give a fuck about unless said expanding invades his territory and then all hell breaks loose. “stupid shit, but it’s dealt with now.”

of course, by ‘dealt with’ he means said invasive parties are now dead.  that’s just how life be.

“so, what the hell you’ve been up to while i was gone, huh? that capt’n of yers beat ya ass for not doin’ paperwork, yet?”

     “ has he beat my ass ?? yes. have i learned my lesson ?? no. ” he should have been doing his paperwork this very moment---but kick-starting grimmjow’s return seemed to be more appropriate. after all, the espada was technically one of their own now seeing how the fifth is where he’ll stay whenever he is around.

     “ been doing everything but the paperwork. training the newbies , training myself , doing my daily rounds , bothering both the captain and the vice captain. the normal things---you didn’t miss much. ”

     what a dutiful , respectable , and tolerable third seat haru was ( all sarcasm ! ). 

he swiftly dodges the kick because, honestly, he’s so used to haru’s greetings at this point (predictable ass motherfucker), instead grabbing haru’s leg and body slamming him.

“shut the fuck up, y’know you were bored as fuck without my ass around !!”

sniff sniff.

i smell a smell; a smelly, super smelly smell that SMELLS.  it can only be one thing–

“OI–HARU! how ya’ been, jackass?”

     “ GRIMMJOW --- !! ”

it could have been, but to rangiku, most work was too boring to hold her attention for long. she was simply saving haru from it.

he’s actually used to this by now. and he really didn’t mind it.
