I noticed that MC has the choice to initiate touches/kisses towards Yael multiple times in his route. If the MC chooses to kiss/grab him without warning, he’s described as freezing up and sometimes stops breathing. MC seems to view this as him just being shy?

Two moments stood out to me – 1. When Yael is worried abt the interrogation and MC chooses to kiss him without warning, he actually tries asking them something (“I’d appreciate it if next time, you could-”) before being interrupted by MC.

2. When MC is staying the night at Yael’s house (while they’re both worried about Al breaking in), MC can choose to ask for a hug. When Yael questions this, MC comments that they thought he’d appreciate them asking first before touching him- and he actually CONFIRMS this afterward!

My question is- are we accidentally triggering Yael when those options are chosen? Was he going to ask us to ask him first before kissing him that one time? I felt so awful when I noticed this pattern in my run 😭

I didn't want to comment too much on it, but I'm happy to see that somebody picked up on this..!! Especially influenced by his past, he often struggles with initiating intimacy and also receiving it spontaneously. Being given the chance to properly voice his consent and to be able to hear your clear consent in return before doing anything, is something that is very important to him.
