It's been a week! I have just reblogged a lot of posts and photos from the events because I want to keep the memories on my blog forever. Thanks to all those who have shared their stuff and stories. Now, though everything has been said, I'd like to make my own account and post my few crappy pics to remind myself it happened and I was there. It could be the happiest days of my being a Rurouni Kenshin fan. ^^ SM Megamall, 2014-08-06 I guess we weren't early enough, so when they started to let us in, my friend and I were not able to save a spot behind the barricades that divided the audience and the red carpet walk. Hence, I didn't get any sign, and I felt like a loser, hehehe. Besides, I didn't bring anything appropriate for an autograph. To relieve myself, I thought at least, we were very near the stage. Director Otomo, Takeru, Munetaka, and Emi were such gorgeous, amazing and nice people.  No need to get into the details of the events, but what made me die of fangirling would be this moment of Takeru Satoh. HE IS SO CUTE OMG. I deeply admired the features of his face, and his laugh. It was really hard to believe I was seeing him. >.<

I couldn't go to the premiere night, but after dinner, I went to the cinema and ten minutes later, Takeru, Munetaka, and Emi came out and signed the RK promotional boards. Like wow, what a bonus hahaha!

It was reported that 5,000 people attended this event. It still seems surreal that Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno made its Asian premier in my country. Like two years ago, it was a struggle to even get the first film shown in our local theaters. Now, I love you Warner Bros. Philippines because in 2012, I hated you hahaha. Seriously, thanks a lot to everyone who made this possible. This is something we will never forget. :)

It is given that the cast and fight scenes are perfect. But other than Kenshin's own realizations, the film lacked depth and character development. It all became too simple, and instead, the plot created its own sequences. I nonetheless enjoyed it.
