You interpreted it exactly as I intended! Kazuma is actually the one being welcomed back by Ryunosuke upon his return home, but he’s acting as if he’s the one doing the welcoming, saying, “Good to see you!” instead.☺️

If you are still doing requests, could you please do a ryuuaso role swap. Where Ryunosuke is the masked disciple and Kazuma is the defense attorney.

Also, what kind of gradients would you use in your works? (certain saturations or brightness?) I’d like to study your style soon, so it would be helpful to get an idea.

I have a lot of wonderful Gradient Map color set assets saved in Clip Studio Paint. (Sorry I can only show a few of them. 😵)

For the simple color illustrations I post online, I first paint everything in grayscale and then use Gradient Maps to apply the colors.

It’s really easy! I usually tweak some of the colors in the color sets or make additional color adjustments to suit my needs.

One of my longtime favorites is the collection of color sets that are already arranged into five-color palettes. ☺️

(I checked, and it looks like the five-color palette asset has already been removed. 😭)

Since it’s only available for Clip Studio Paint, I’ll share some of my favorite Gradient Map assets instead.

For my color illustrations, I usually start by coloring them rather freely, and then I adjust the colors using the Gradient Map feature. I rely on it a lot because it automatically helps create a cohesive color palette throughout the artwork.
