with a soft breath they close their eyes, chin leaning against the back of their palm; it was a difficult thing, trying to think of romance while a diva sharing her music with the world … it was even more difficult balancing that while keeping the truth of being a pirate hidden from that same world. finding someone who knew her, knew the truth, was hard, just as hard as it was to find all of that plus someone who understood her dedication to her crew. it's a relief to see her again, to be certain : after helping @resolutepath on her journey to rescue the former warlord gekkō moria, uta had been thinking about if she'd be alright ever since; while they had no doubts about the ghost princess' skills, it was a worry all the same, lingering in the back of her thoughts as the carmine pirates helped out in wano kuni. once the country's safety had been secured, and the others set out in different directions, it didn't take much work for uta to convince jackdaw to turn back around to hachinosu and pick perōna ( and moria ) up.

as they arrived at pirate island, it was clearly in deep disarray; however, even in the chaos, the carmine pirates were in good form after the resting they were able to do following everything they fought through in wano kuni. with zuly's tracking skills, it didn't take long at all to locate their targets. once back on the hidden talent, sailing out once more following the directions sorrel and lila got from perōna, uta can't keep themself from wrapping their arms around the other woman in a tight embrace; the gentle peck against her cheek makes her pause, skin fading into a soft shade of pink in response, but she merely smiles wide all the same.
