1. We pray over the phone just before we end our evening convos.
It started with a 40-day prayer challenge which I came across over the internet when we were only more than one-month old as bf/gf. Exactly today, we are on the 15th month and we still do that almost every night.
2. We decided not to travel (for leisure when it's just the two of us) until we get married.
We both love to experience different places but we have to put this longing on hold because we wanted to save the best for last. Chos. Nah, we just don't have money for that yet. Chos again. Haha. The real reason is that we wanted to honor first the Lord and prioritize His ministry above all things. We also wanted to spare ourselves from situations that could lead us to temptations. IYKWIM.
3. We have a love journal and it's one of our faith goals to have our story well-documented.
Even before Day 1, I've been keeping one [journal] for us and for our future generation to see. Instead of celebrating and highlighting our monthsaries, I choose to write the memories that we have in our journey together on a monthly basis. That includes our witty conversations, itineraries/plans whenever we meet, revelations, epiphanies, inside jokes, surprises, faith goals, prayers and even our fights. Haha. I'm praying that we'd get to publish them all into a love book someday.
4. I'm an owl nighter and he's an early bird riser.
5. He loves to speak and I love to write.
6. He's a movie buff and I am not.
7. I'm a computer techie and he is not.
8. I love playing with colors and he is colorblind.
9. He loves to joke around and I like serious stuffs.
10. He is spontaneous and I want things to be well-planned.
11. We're both left-handed.
12. We got a mole on the left 'sentido-kumon' part
13. Our pointing(?) {errr, second) toes are longer than our big toes.
14. We don't eat ice cream alone. (We always have the desire to share such simple joy and treat the people around.)
15. We are deeply in love because the Lord Jesus first loved us so much.
We aren't a perfect couple just as we are imperfect in our individual selves. We do have fights (a lot, actually haha). But we have a perfect God who's ever faithful in what He promises and always gracious in what He does. His love for us has sustained our love for each other up to this day and for the past 15 months. :)
