♚:: The control he felt in that moment was entirely sexual: by his hand he brought this beautiful creature to orgasm, it was a profoundly satisfying sensation and sight. The man beneath him, eyes frosted with lust and voice hoarse from his release, was a treat. He savoured the moment; the mess that oozed over his hand as he continued to work the shaft to softness.

「Splendid. 」

The transcendent’s voice was low and pleased, admiring the vivid mess that streaked the rebels abdomen and clung in pretty pearls to the contours of his skin. Unlike his earlier incarnations, this divine visage enjoyed far more things; could relinquish his inhibitions to suit his mood and his hungers.

Pleasure was paramount; enjoying his own power, his own body, his own autonomy was what truly delighted him. There was no need to be fettered by outward perceptions of him, in that regard he had transcended not only his mundane fleshy Shinigami vessel but also the cage of his thoughts. Liberation was truly euphoric.

When the other spoke of ‘cleaning up’, he chuckled.

「 Ah... yes, you’ve made quite a mess haven’t you? 」

A wry smile graced divine lips as he stooped down, having gathered his long mane so that it would not obstruct him, and dragged his tongue over the plane of his rebellious self’s stomach. The mess that gathered on his tongue was primarily saline, but far from unpleasant; this was something he would not have dreamed of doing once but now he had evolved and with it came a willingness to test his own boundaries and to enjoy himself fully.

That included the self before him.

With a firm, eager tongue he lapped up the gooey beads from the spent visage beneath him and straightened up so that he could look down on himself; such a delightful creature... Without warning, he dipped down and pressed his mouth firmly to the other; pushed his stained tongue inside the renegade’s dazed mouth and shared the mess with him.

「 Mmmmh... 」

♚:: Something spoke to him. Perhaps it was the Hōgyoku, or perhaps it was simply a gut instinct. Whatever it was, it told him that it would be foolish to wait for the boy to get much stronger. Certainly in his current form he was not up to the task of fighting the transcendent on equal footing, but that also meant he was easy prey.

And the hunger he felt was rather profound in that moment. 

Though he had intended to say the words –– devouring you can wait –– that sentiment fell deaf on his lips and instead he smirked wickedly and used his reiatsu to floor the redhead as though he were a pinned insect waiting to be framed. 

「 I had intended to wait until the end to savour the act of devouring you… 」

As he spoke he drew nearer, enjoying the tension that washed over the moment in waves. He could feel Gin’s incredulous closed-eye stare against his back. Clearly the snake had not anticipated this. Nor had his prey, who stared up with wide eyes.

「 But I’ve changed my mind. 」

The smile on his lips grew into a savage, hungry grin as he stooped down and caught a fistful of orange hair, yanked the boy’s head up. Another few seconds were spent just drinking in the moment –– the fear that radiated off the lad, the prospect of finally tasting that wonderfully matured reiatsu, the boost it would give to his own powers…

Sublime.

「 I’m going to consume you here and now, Kurosaki Ichigo… 」

Amethyst eyes narrowed, as the entity curled his free hand around the fallen substitute’s throat and lifted him up into the air so that he dangled; his reiatsu still bearing down, keeping him paralysed and obedient. Such a pleasing sight. The hunt was enjoyable, but the prospect of the kill was the thing that made pale lavender irises narrow with delight. 

Premonitions of teeth sinking into soul and rending reishi from ethereal bone… he licked his lips, the barest brush of his tongue over his waiting mouth. His eyes gleamed with power, the Hōgyoku responding to the yearning he felt. 

Then, he placed his lips on crook between Ichigo’s neck and shoulder and began to fray the skin with his mouth; slowly draining the preliminary layer of spirit pressure that radiated from the lad’s skin. He felt his prey squirming, but it was pointless. 

He’d been trapped and they both knew it. 

Gradually the resistance drew to a halt as Aizen drained more and more of his quarry’s life force until, finally, there was no more struggling. Just grim resignation; he understood, at last. the transcendent smiled to himself.

「 It’s over... 」

What remained of the boy was transformed into an orb of reiatsu, which the divine entity promptly consumed; swallowed down the last vestiges of Kurosaki Ichigo. The youth’s power soaked his skin and filled him with even greater strength than ever before –– just as he suspected it would.

Nothing would stop him now. No one could stop him.
