Ok so having a chance to look at this again can I say how adorable this is still?

Not only the cute, slightly messy way Daryl eats (with that pinky extension lol) but just the look on Carol’s face. The way she smiled with her chin on her hand. Looking at him like he is just the most precious thing in the world to her. She was happy just to sit there, feed him and watch him eat.
And he was perfectly happy to give her the illusion, however fleeting, that everything was okay. Just having a peaceful dinner together like normal people.
Its just so… you know?
And maybe this is what we mean by little moments they do anywhere near enough of anymore IMO. I really REALLY miss these kind of things that may not move the plot in any real way but are so damn important to us as fans you know what I’m saying.
It’s not just that its Caryl either, its just we don’t get enough these kind of small, memorable interactions within the core relationships that have built this and to me this is just a great example.
But it’s also the Caryl, i’m not gonna lie, I want more of these little things for them too just saying :)
