Shrink her and put her in a piece of jewelry. Any kind of jewelry. For instance, put her in a round translucent bauble hanging on the end of a necklace. Then wear the necklace and ignore her, treating her just like any other piece of jewelry.

This works because on one hand, you're implying that she's incredibly precious and beautiful like a jewel...but at the same time treating her as utterly insignificant. Something you can't even be bothered to notice, like dirt under your fingernails. You're simultaneously showing her off to the world...and also holding her captive, treating her as something lower than a slave. And ARE you even showing her off in the first place? Or is she too small and too well hidden to ever be noticed by others? She can't tell. She's a decoration, and she's also nothing at all. Absolutely nothing. She's not even being treated like an inanimate object...she's merely an ACCESSORY to an inanimate object, if even that.

Your treatment of her is sending so many mixed messages. So many contradictions. Her mind will be constantly buzzing. She won't be able to stop turning the implications over and over in her head. Was this your intention all along? Were you intending to show her off? To not-so-subtly brag about her and display her as your little trophy? Was this meant to make her feel like something precious and captivating? Or were you just reminding her of how laughably low she is on the totem pole? Which one is it? Is it a little bit of both? Is it a LOT of both? Were you trying to make her feel uncertain and caught between the two? Or were you even trying to cause any reaction in her at all? Were you even thinking about her in the slightest, or were you just doing what pleased you in the moment? Have you already forgotten that she's there? And she can't even ask you, because she's jewelry right now. Nobody talks to their jewelry while they're wearing it. Even if she tried to make a sound, you'd never hear her, because she's so extremely tiny, and the walls of her little prison would prevent her voice from getting out anyway.

This will drive her crazy by creating a huge amount of emotional tension. Don't protest...I know tiny girls love it when you mess with their heads. I know you girls love when a giant makes you feel that much tension and completely overwhelms you with emotions. Good or bad or ambiguous. Especially ambiguous. I've got you all figured out.

The best size for tinies is Thumbelina-sized or smaller. No bigger than a human thumb, which is around two inches.

WAIT, WAIT, before you start throwing crumbs at me (with your tiny, tiny arms), let me explain the reasons why!

1. The most important reason: your giant can FULLY close their hand around you and cover you completely...they can cuddle you in a way that wouldn't be possible if you were bigger. You get the full intimate "palm cuddle" experience. Nothing can get in or out of the giant's closed hand, including you. Which will make you feel even more "owned", more protected, and more cherished. If you're three inches tall or six inches tall, handheld interaction is different, because whenever the giant closes his hand, your head or your feet will still be sticking out--and maybe a lot more than that!--because you're not small enough to be FULLY handheld. It's hard to lie down on the hand and find a position that will accommodate your length. The hand feels less like it was designed for you.

2. Riding in a shirt pocket is more unwieldy and cramped if you're, let's say, four or six inches tall. Also, if your giant leaves the house with you in his pocket, people will clearly be able to see the outline of your body inside it. They'll think your giant has a small animal or an action figure inside his pocket. It's not very good for stealthy transportation. "But if I'm thumb-sized or smaller, I won't be able to see out of the pocket!" I hear you saying.

Well, first of all, you probably shouldn't be sticking your head out of the pocket while there are other people around. Second, being unable to reach the top of the pocket makes you more helpless and more dependent on your giant for everything, which we ALL know is what you actually want! (C'mon, do you really expect me to believe you shrunk yourself to tiny size so you could be INDEPENDENT and capable of doing normal human activities? 😆 That's a pretty strange way to be independent and non-helpless!) Also, if you really have to, you can probably CLIMB to the top of the pocket. (Let's be honest, you most likely shrunk yourself because you wanted to climb things and people anyway. Did I mentionthat the smaller you are, the easier it is to find handholds and footholds?) And plus, there are some pockets that you can kinda see through...the smaller you get, the easier it is to see through them!

3. The smaller you are, the more likely your giant is to keep a close eye on you and never let you out of his sight--which we ALL know is what you wanted, right? 😉

4. It's easier to hide in general. Duh. It's also easier to explore.

5. And it's asier to be cozy, because there are more nice soft places or objects or crevices that you can fit into or onto. Lying in your giant's hand (or anywhere else on their body) is more comfortable, because the skin and other cushioning is literally thicker when you're smaller.

6. Falling isn't a big deal, because there's more air resistance, and you have less body weight.

7. There are more things you can ride.

8. Have you tried climbing giant fingers or thumbs? You should.

9. It's harder to hug giant fingers or thumbs if you're bigger--and there's less to hug!

10. Every experience is amplified, and it makes everything more overwhelming--which we ALL know is what you wanted!

It's technically an urban fantasy, with things like modern technology and societies existing alongside magic and medieval cosmology (don't worry too much about what that entails, it never really comes into play besides brief references)

There are more humans than there are giants, and more tinies than there are humans

Since everything in this world is "human sized," humans are the functional majority

Mixed societies exist, but are in their early stages, so non-integrated communities are still just as common

Growing/shrinking spells exist, but are only permanent on non-living things (organic materials that are no longer "alive" still work, though)

Finally, the actual focus of the story: a human streamer/youtuber (from a non-integrated community) making content focused around spending a day as a giant/tiny

Video titles include "I SPENT A DAY LIVING AS A GIANT (NOT CLICKBAIT!!!!!!)" and "24-HOUR BORROWER CHALLENGE?????"

In the latter scenario, there is an actual borrower living in their apartment, who has to try and hide from the human while the human is going around trying (and usually failing) to do borrower things

(Borrowers are a known phenomenon in this world, but humans and borrowers rarely encounter each other

Borrowers are often seen as "backwards" and "savage" by humans and the "more evolved" tinies who live in integrated societies)

The human streamer inevitably finds out about the borrower when they explore the walls of their apartment and find the borrower's home in there

The borrower is worried that the human will react badly when they find out about them, and is especially scared about what they'll do when they go back to their normal size

But the human also has a secret: they aren't a normal human under a temporary shrinking spell, they are a size-shifter

(size-shifters also exist but are extremely rare, and their abilities are poorly understood, leading them to be viewed as dangerous and out of control

it is possible for size-shifters to control their abilities, but it takes a lot of time and practice)

Since the size-shifter is used to be A. small and B. misunderstood, they allow the borrower to stick around as their roommate

and then they fall in love

Also since the streamer had a lot of uncontrolled shifts before they learned to control their abilities, they're mostly playing up their reactions to being giant/tiny for the "first time" for the camera

imagine a borrower-turned-human shrinking back down to their normal size and slipping back into the palace walls. imagine a giant-turned-human slowly growing back to their normal size and leaving an accidental trail of destruction in their wake? there's so many other possibilities, those are just some off of the top of my head

the feel of everything crumbling around your touch as you grow talker and taller.

crossing deep rivers as a giant and theres a tickle of fish slapping you as they swim with the swift current

being able to shower in waterfalls, feeling the rushing water soak you

on the other hand…

being engulfed in a super fuzzy fabric or rug and having to push fibers out of the way to try and find your way out

ridges and wrinkles of skin, lighting on fire beneath your touch

feeling huge snowflakes hit you and begin to bog you down in weight
