"I'll have someone fix you something to eat then you must rest. You've had a rough few days" Hermes smiled, gently smoothing Raife's hair back
Trevor nodded. âCan you cuddle with me?â he asked.Â
Daudrie watched the scene in disgust. She had hoped the hawk wouldnât be able to fly ever again. It was a shame that wasnât the case.Â
He spent a good hour or so taking scans and samples from her in her serpent form.
âIâll teach you, i promise. But for now youâre just going to have to eat what I give you~â
By the time he was done with what he was doing, Daudrie was getting antsy. She wanted out of this cage and out of this place. She was scared and stil in pain and now she was hungry too.
Raife smiled at him. âIâm okay with that~â
Apollo carefully lifted her out of the tank, firmly keeping her mouth pinned shut. He lay her on the bed, âfeel free to turn back and weâll see about foodâ
âOh good~â he brought the pancakes over with a smile
She turned back into a human when he had left her on the bed. There was still significant damage to her legs from the blade in her tale. She doubted sheâd be able to walk any time soon. She refused to look at him. âSo what do you have to eat?â She asked, glaring at the ground and hating that she had to get food from her captor. At least she didnât have to beg.
Raife smiled as the food was brought over. He sat up with Hermesâs help and began to eat what he was fed enjoying the taste of his loverâs cooking.
âHummus and crackersâ he said simply, tending to her legs.
âSo blueberry pancakes have your approval?â Hermes grinned
âFine,â she said, still not pleased with this. At least he wasnât just letting her injuries fester. She was disgusted with how helpless she felt right now.
âMhm,â Raife said, taking another bite. He swallowed and pecked Hermes on the lips.
He made sure she was secured to the bed before leaving and locking the room to fetch her food.
Hermes smiled and kissed him softly, âgood~â
Daudrie scowled as he secured her to get bed and waited for him to come back. While he was gone she examined the damage to her legs. It wasnât pretty. Her right let was cut down to he bone which explained why it was so painful. Her left leg wasnât quite as bad but it still had a large gash running through it.
Apollo returned with the hummus and crackers, handing them to her whilst he continued work on her legs
Daudrie ate the crackers silently while she watched him tend to her legs. It was painful and that showed on her face, but she was trying to hide exactly how painful it was. Finally she sighed. âThank you,â she said. She may not like this god, but she appreciated that he was at least not letting her injuries get worse than they already were.
Raife finished eating the pancakes happily. When he was done he looked at Hermes. âIâm bored just laying here. There must be something I besides sleep.â
âWell we donât want your legs falling offâ Apollo shrugged. He cleared her plate away, leaving it by the door.
âI donât know, iâll have to speak to Apollo and see what he saysâ
"Why not?" She asked. "I wouldn't be able to run away that way..." she didn't want to give him any ideas, but she was genuinely curious. She had been completely ready to let the hawk's arms fester. If she'd had her way he never would have been able to fly again.
"Okay," Raife said. He laid back on the pillows and looked at Hermes with eyes full of love.
