I'm not a bird though?

...After that, Biospark didn’t say much else. She was always quiet, but there was a new hint of... sadness? Loneliness? That she never showed before. 

I decided not to pry any further. I think it was already a lot just bringing me here; she was probably the only person to come here in hundreds of years. She can tell me more if she ever wants to.

We walked through the grassy field in silence for a little bit. Other than being a weirdly open patch of grass in an otherwise dense forest, there wasn’t much left to suggest that there used to be a whole village here. Some scattered stones crumbling here and there (probably the foundation of buildings?). A vague mound of grass and rocks that might have been a well. Sometimes there were pieces of household objects or the steel head of farm tools sticking out from the grass. But that was about it. 

“...Do you miss them?” I asked Biospark after a while. 

Without hesitating, she shrugged and answered. “Not particularly.” She glanced at me, letting out a small sigh as she met my eyes. “...Really. We only barely tolerated each other before, anyhow.” 

“...Oh.” 

Update: We’ve been in the mountains for a bit now. The sunset is gorgeous! It’s also lasting a lot longer than usual... We must be in the Nutty Noon region now. I think that’s where we’re supposed to be.

Galacta: Hi everyone! Sorry for the inactivity. I wanted to get some answers done though, so here’s a few quick ones!

Galacta: Yeah you never did tell me either

Bio: ...Those details are... heavily classified. For the safety of both of us. Mostly myself. I will say that the scroll has a bit of, uh, “controversy” regarding its ownership.

Galacta: Well for one, I’ve always used this thing more like a... Bashing stick. A club maybe? I don’t really need it to be sharp. And that title really isn’t anything more than a ridiculous rumor...

Bio: Have you ever even been outside of this system cluster? Or even outside of this one system?

Galacta: Nah, I’ve never been outside of this one. So that “title” is really just complete garbage. The galaxy’s really big you know!!

Galacta: I already said I’m not making any wishes.

Bio: That’s conspiracy forum garbage, anyhow. There has been no reliably documented cases of another clockwork comet in any part of the inhabited galaxy in literal thousands of years. A giant metal construct of that scope is not something that can be hidden for that long.
