ＷＨＡＴ ＴＨＥ ＨＥＬＬＳ ＧＯＩＮＧ ＯＮ

I’m going on hiatus on all my TWEWY blogs.

If you don’t know, recently I’ve become pretty into Undertale (Great game. I’d highly recommend looking it up. Another one of those special types of game  with a really good plot, and unique gameplay.) and my interests tend to falter when I get into something new. It’s a cycle I’ve seen in myself again and again. And I’ve actually gotten afraid of getting into new things because of it, and the fact that other interests seem to tear away from me when I get into something new.

But I didn’t avoid it this time, and here I am.

So I’m taking a break.

Don’t get me wrong. I still love TWEWY. And I love this fandom more than anything in the world. And I love having my Muses over here (Especially Josh). But in between the strain of school, and a new hyper-interest, five blogs is just too much for me. So I’m taking a break from Josh, Composer Neku, and Ika.

I’ll be back, eventually. I can’t avoid these guys forever. I might be back in a few weeks, I might be back in a few months, who knows? I’ll probably come back in gradually, but I WON’T be dropping any drafts. I like the ones I have. I’m hoping to get roped back into the fandom during the next TRG, and spark my interest again. But for now? Adios.

             That’s the thing, a sorry wouldn’t have fixed anything. An apology rarely              ever does anything but waste breath and time; at least in the mind and              soul of the Producer. He said the words but when it came down to it              he didn’t…. actually mean them.

             Because if he had to do it again, he would. It wasn’t anything personal              against the new child Composer. It had nothing to do with Neku at the              heart of it.

             It was his job. The city came first. Shibuya came first and before all              in Hanekoma’s mind. It may come across that he was just working              against him, but there was so much more that Neku just wouldn’t              understand. At least for now.

             Brandishing a pack of cigarettes from his back pocket , pulled out              one of the sticks and a lighter; covering the flame with his hand              as he burned the end of it. Returning cigarette and lighter to their              original locations he sighed and rested his frame against the wall              in the Room of Reckoning.

                 ❝ And what if I am. Neku- what took place is beyond you and I. I want                            you to listen carefully to me, Phones. Joshua used you from the                            beginning for his plans.  It sucks but it’s true. He told me about                            what he was planning to do but I didn’t agree with it.

                          It’s beyond us, Kiddo. It’s beyond everything personal. It’s got everything to                           do with keeping Shibuya alive. So I could really care less if you harbor anything                           against me. As far as I’m concerned, Shibuya’s still alive. ❞

              A long drag from the cigarette and he locked the ash onto the ground, shrugging his               shoulders. Eyes closed and inhaling the scent of smoke that floated around him              from his personal human vice.

                      ❝ You were just the unfortunate soul that got dragged into this mess of a game                            Joshua started. And if it wasn’t you, it’d have been some other kid just as                            mad. You have every right to be pissed, I would be too; but don’t you dare                            say that It’s because I chose the UG instead of trying to help you.

“I’m not an idiot. I know he used me.” The Composer angrily fingered his hair spikes. “I know he never cared. That’s why he made such a damn show about it. He made sure to have the last hurrah. That whole week was just some dumbass game to him. Like his entire life was. He thought it was funny. He didn’t even try to make up for what he was about to do to me.”

“Sure, Shibuya lived. But did I live, Mr. H? No. I died. I was murdered. I’ll never come back. Is that fair to you?”

...Of course it was. Deep down, even he agreed it was fair. He’d entered this position on his own choices. And he’d done it for Shibuya, too. Maybe not for the city itself; but for the people that thrived in it. So Shiki and Beat and Rhyme could live. So others could continue on with their lives. So Joshua couldn’t make a selfish choice and end everyone else’s lives. It had been his reason too. For everything. For Shibuya.

Yet, it was unfair. It was cruel. He’d been put in an unwinnable situation; Given the choice between his home and friends, and his livelihood. There had to have been people above Joshua. What had made them sit down, and decide that that was okay...? Neku had been just a kid. He still was. He was scared. He was angry. He was clueless.

“If it could have been anyone... If anyone could have suffered... Then why did you allow that? You were like Joshua’s fucking dad, or whatever. Couldn’t you have made him stop? Why did his damn opinions matter, above the safety of the people in the city you let me die for!? What if I hadn’t been there? What if I’d put that gun down? He would have still destroyed the city. I was the one protecting it. Not. You. Is this just a game to you too? Answer me, Mr. H. Am I going to be played for a fool by every fucking person down here?”

            Neku still had a lot to learn about people. Unfortunately. He had              to use Neku to get what he needed too. Sanae didn’t want to              in all honesty, what he wanted was to let the kid have his space             and be one more bruding teenager in the inner workings of              Japanese Society. Nothing like this. 

             Joshua decided otherwise.
