The blood of the victims is on the hands of every wahabi and religious scholar who calls Shi'a Muslims “kafir”, the blood of the victims hands is on every single person who propagated and took part in these disgusting lies, it’s on the hands of the gulf countries who push their anti-shi'a wahabi agenda in the region, it’s on the hands of every person who witnessed or heard these hateful ideas being tossed around without ever speaking up or attempting to stop it. This is what it leads to: my country burning, my countrymen dying, and during the holiest month just days before eid. While the rest of the “Ummah” will be celebrating, the families of the victims will be in mourning. Enough is enough. If you hear anyone say ignorant things about shi'a Muslims, it’s your duty before God to put an end to it immediately. I don’t care if it’s being said by your own parents or loved ones, people are dying because of this sectarian bullshit. If this young generation doesn’t put an end to it in our circles then may God have mercy on us all because these attacks are only the beginning. They are the end of a road which begins with dehumanizing hate and ends with murder. And if you are still in denial about Shi'a genocide then it’s time to wake up. And let’s not start with the whole “but this is not Islamic” bullshit because you can turn on any Saudi-Wahabi religious channel and you see those animals supporting these acts by fueling the hatred that ignites the flame. It became part of religion the minute there was a “right sect” destined for heaven, and a “wrong sect” destined for hell. Unless we start having a real conversation and taking action against the wahabi cult that makes up the ideological backbone of these terrorist groups, then don’t bother just posting “praying for x city” because prayer without action won’t do us much good. I agree. Unless Sunni Muslims learn tolerance and acceptance of other sects such as Shiism, and reject Wahabbi doctrine, the blood of innocents is on the hands of every Sunni who thinks Shias are half Muslims or infidels. If you think they’re not worthy of your religion, how will you feel empathy for people in a horrible and unfair incident like this?

Perhaps one of the most deadly terrorist attacks in the last decade hit Baghdad last night. The death toll is at 200 and climbing by the minute. The victims were mainly families out preparing for Eid or celebrating. People were trapped and burning for hours after the explosion. There is little to no media coverage. No one is mourning, no one believes this is relevant, no one cares. 200 families destroyed. It’s so frustrating. What is it about Iraqi blood that makes it so cheap? Why is our misery okay? Why does the world light up for literally everywhere else? I just want to know why does no one care when it comes to Iraq. Our martyrs don’t get pictures or names. They become a number that people ignore.

Probably because the Iraqi people have legit fucked over the rest of the world in some way or another.

This cannot be real. In what world is this okay? Families were killed and burned alive. These are humans killed . And what exactly have Iraqis done to the rest of the world? Last I checked it was Iraqis suffering under Saddam, suffering under sanctions which starved them and left them without medical care, and it was Iraqis who were invaded and had their country occupied.
