I squat at home with a barbell, any tips besides pushing with my heels to hit the glutes more
There are a varity of tips I could provide depending on the style of squat you're doing. These are the staple tips I could think of:1, Take a large breath using your diaphragm.2, Engage your abdominals.3, Head forward, inline with your spine.4, Chest up and don't allow your chest to sink.5, As you begin your squat, break at your hips first then knees right after.6, Keep your knees out, not allowing them to buckle inwards. Don't push your knees out too far. 7, Push through your heels.8, Keeping your chest up always (again).9, Exhale as you push up.10, Rack the bar safely.11, If possible, make sure you use a spotter.12, Always consult with a PT in your local area if your unsure about your technique!Be safe always!Happy squatting - SheSquats

How many times a week should I squat and how many squats should I do?
It completely depends on what training you're aiming for. Hypertrophy, endurance, strength?A good beginning is 2 to 3 sets by 5 to 8 reps once a week for about 4 to 6 weeks depending on how your body is coping. By then you should be a competent squater and your form should be solid. Once your body has adapted well to the training, you can begin to increase the reps and sets and times per week you train legs.Don't over do it to begin with. Train smart!- SheSquats

I started a new workout regimen that's lower-body intensive and after two months, I've seen great results in my butt area. I just have one question: do squats increase the width of a waist?
The short answer is yes. This can be a result of lower body workouts like squats. Simply putting it, squats are a great exercise for your entire body but most effectively work the major muscle groups of your glutes, hips and thighs.Don't be discouraged by a little waist gain.If your training is of concern to you please seek advice from a registered PT in your local area.

Finished off today’s squat sesh with some light ass tempos that made me sweat like I just did 10 sets of sprints 😭
So my butt is basically flat, I'm 16, and I hate it so much. What can I do other than run to make it rounder and less flat? How many squats a day? Thanks!
Firstly if I were you I’d be signing up to a gym and seeking advice from a personal trainer. However in your instance I would also suggest simple bodyweight exercises:-Squats-Squat Jumps-Pistol Squats-Step Ups-Lunges-Glute Bridges-Isometric HoldsThen when things are getting serious at a gym it’s not a matter of how many squats per day. The only thing you’ll receive by doing that is a little muscle endurance, light weight; high reps.
You want it bigger and rounder? If so you need to be looking at the hypertrophic rep range - 8 to 15 x 3-4 sets
If you are going to reach that you need to lift heavy. Roughly 70-75% of your 1 repetition max.There’s a lot to learn but start easy body weight and increase the challenge as your body adapts.
