World Series 2018: Update

Game 1: Success!

I’m so excited to be back in the World Series. This time is a little different, since I’m stuck on crutches and doing more behind the scenes work, but it’s still so much fun. The atmosphere is great, the crowd is electric, and this team is amazing.

Let’s do more damage in Game 2 tonight and bring the trophy home from California.

THIS IS BOSTON, NOT LA.

Here’s hoping that Price isn’t rattled by New York’s bats and can get the job done. And our bats need to wake up a little more too. If our bullpen is going to be giving up a run an inning, we need to stock up on runs early on.

Let’s go Red Sox!

It’s here. A Red Sox and Yankees play off series. I don’t even have real words (mostly because I’m updating from a T station on my phone at 7 am), but I’m excited nonetheless.

Thom and I haven’t been in this situation in the almost 5 years we’ve been together. It’s a civil war that we have no control of.

Run to Home Base 2017

She’s back in the Rundown

Oh look, I’m posting in this after a very very long and unwarranted hiatus. Finally the Red Sox seem to be on the right track and this year seems like a good year to get back in the groove. I’m still at Fenway Park. So expect some fun stuff from that front. It’s the last year for Ortiz. Expect some feels from that. Let’s just have a good time, alright?

So as we know, I won the last Red Sox-Yankees bet and Thom has to sing Sweet Caroline at karaoke in the new future.

For this weekend’s series, the loser has to make or buy dessert for the winner. Thom gets a New York Cheesecake while I get a Boston Cream Pie.

Red Sox baseball is in full swing and I can’t be any more excited for it! Opening Day was fantastic, even if I didn’t get to watch or even listen to it. I’m looking forward to enjoying some games in the near future as well as Fenway Opening Day on Monday!

We may be buried under a few mountains of snow right now, but the first sign of spring has shown itself; Truck Day is here!

The gear is loaded and on it’s way to (hopefully) sunny Ft. Myers, Florida to meet up with the pitchers and catchers who will report on the 20th.

With any luck, Fenway Park will be snow (and mud!) free on April 13 for Opening Day!

A Farewell to Lester

I’m sad to say ‘Good-Bye’ to Lester. Before, I thought it was a ‘See ya, later’, but we were wrong.

I’m angry at the managment in Boston for not offering the money they should have.

I’m upset that he just didn’t come here anyway.

I’m happy for him that he’ll get the money, and respect, he deserves in Chicago.

I’m estatic that we won’t go up against him in the AL East.
