I found this lying around so have at it.It's partially ruined but it doesn't matter much to me.

----------------★ Romanian quirks -> headcanons:---------------- Gymnastics: Some people may know that a Romanian gymnast, Nadia Comăneci, is one of the first to recieve a perfect score of 10 in the 1976 Quebec Olympics. Nowadays, many usually think of Romanians when it comes to gymnastics.  ★ Headcanon: It may be a stretch but for Nicoleta to actually do gymnastics but she certainly does enjoy it. It is one of the most prized facts. Vampires: Vampires in Romania are known as the vampir. Related species are called the 'strigoi' - they are uneasy souls that rise from the grave. Unlike the Western view, they are more like zombies that suck blood. The fictional character 'Dracula' was influenced by Vlad Țepeș. ★ Headcanon: Nicoleta thinks the Western idea of a vampire is interesting, but does not find any of the vampire jokes to be genuinely funny (they have been overdone), especially if they revolve around her. She would remark that there are other mythical creatures that should be reckoned with, such as the werewolf-like pricolici or moroi.  Romanian humor: Supposedly, Romanians have a thing for grammatical puns, clever stories, and quips. It is really a characteristic that many of the Romanians have. Even during the bad times (15 years of the Ceausescu period), a twisted and cynical sense of humor was still able to uplift the Romanian spirit. Comedy is a very important aspect of the Romnian culture. ★ Headcanon: Nicoleta loves to joke, and although others may view it to be 'lame', she likes to point it out anyway and laugh about it. She appreciate jokes to the core and to see someone attempt to make a joke makes her smile. Driving: The roads in Romania are extremely frightening. The drivers are just as frightening. Personal accounts from friends told me that this is scary. ★ Headcanon: Nicoleta's driving is horrid, although she claims that her driving is 'fine'.  National pessimism: I have once read in an article that there is this sulky feeling that looms over the entire country of Romania (which may be biased). The feeling is similar, in a sense, to the American 'optimism'; Americans have always pursued the 'American dream' and the idea that there are more opportunities than one. Confidence is shown less obviously, more as a defensive reflex. This may not be true for everyone, but it is a psychological study as a whole. The fact that much of Europe scrutinizes Romania because of their Romani or 'gypsy' population. Romanian reputation has been degraded for the past few decades due to this issue, which has affected the sense of nationalism for a number of Romanians.

( *Derived from research, a bit of common sense/intuition, and a short interrogation with an awesome Romanian ) ★ Headcanon: She is a bit insecure of herself. After periods of relentless wars, take-overs, and cruelty, it gets a bit hard to trust people. She's more than afraid of dying after a close encounter with death after World War 2. From then until now, she has been relentlessly bullied. Of course, Nicoleta takes such malign with a grain of salt. Most insults really don't bother her anymore because she knows how to dish out some insults herself. Smoking: Romanians are heavy smokers, according to a study by the Romanian Society of Pneumology. Those who responded said they smoke between 70 and 140 cigarettes weekly – that’s at least a pack of cigarettes a day. 

★ Headcanon: She smokes like a chimney. Food and Alcohol: Romania prides in their delicious cuisine and refined wineries. Their cuisine is culturally mix due to the partially forced assimilation during many foreign rule of Romania.  ★ Headcanon: She's an epicure and is a bit picky when it comes to taste. Nicoleta /always/ wants to flaunt her culinary expertise by cooking for other people. It is common for her to ask one if they are hungry. This is a common Romance country aspect. Superstition: It is still wide-spread in Romania as something embedded in their culture. Not many Romanians today are extremely superstitious as opposed to the older generation, but such sayings and beliefs still exist.  ★ Headcanon: She is superstitious, but not to any extremes whatsoever. Nicoleta would be bugged by a black cat or if someone gave her bouquet with an even amount of flowers.
