Hello all,
It has been quite some time since there was an update from us. And I say us but there isn't really an us anymore. Life happens, and so Erin and Darla had left this not long after I joined in 2016. I didn't know what to do so this sat forgotten for far to long. You may have seen either my name or a -M at the end of my posts. I'm Morgan, I mostly ran the twitter account when I joined. To make a long post short, this is #notdead and is coming back. I want to hold meetups and talk about sherlock again with people. So I hope some people are able to join me!
-M
Hey! Where and when can I watch S4 in Canada? I've been in the UK for the last three years so I've used bbc iplayer but I'm coming back to TO this week. Let me know! Thanks!
You should be able to watch it on PBS Masterpiece, MyiPlayer, and (hopefully BBC Canada) Jan 1 at 7pm MT. BBC Canada doesn’t have any details up for when they’re airing it yet, but we should know once that week’s schedule gets posted.
There will also be a variety of live streaming links that will be passed around the day of, as there usually is, so keep your eyes peeled for those if none of the above options work for you.
Welcome back to Canada and I hope you have a top notch time watching Sherlock here!
FanExpo 2016 Dinner Meetup!
Date: Sunday, September 4, 2016
Time: 6:30 pm (I checked the schedule and it seems reasonable that most panel should be over by that point. If you need more time just let me know!)
Restaurant location: Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill (133 John Street) [google map]
Here’s the walking direction from Metro Toronto Convention Centre north building to the restaurant. If you wish to have someone to walk with you from the convention hall to the restaurant, please let me know in your RSVP and I will organize a walking party. :D
Requirement: None! Not a Sherlockian? No problem. Bringing a friend or two? We’d welcome them too! (Though make sure you bring some money for dinner! ;))
Interested? Please RSVP to 221btoronto [AT] gmail [DOT] com by 11pm on Friday, September 2.
I hope to see you there! :)
I got to go to The Sherlock Exhibit at the Telus Science Centre in Edmonton! I had a great time there. I had so much fun solving the murder, the whole layout felt like I was in Sherlock's mind palace trying to work out all the details, it was also fun to see how other people reacted and approached things.Â
I did solve the crime which made me feel pretty good, I also found the hidden purple troll so I felt super good afterwards! I got to write my name on the board as you can see in the second last picture.
I was also really cool to see some of the props and costumes from different Sherlock adaptations, I included a pic of three props from BBC Sherlock!
The last picture is the few things I bought, I am always a sucker for Sherlock things! I got a new book, a Sherlock handbook that has some really cool tips in it, an observation notebook and a cool fake feather pen!Â
Overall I had an awesome time and the exhibit runs until September 5th so if you have the chance to go, do it!

Sherlock Holmes and The Jersey Lily Review
I know it has been a long long time since I saw the play and I planned for my review to come out right after, and I thought it did but it turns out it didn't publish so I am going to a quick version! I really loved the play, the actors playing Sherlock and Watson were perfect, no moment was out of place, it was really enjoyable. The other actors and actresses were really incredible , I really don't know why I hadn't seen a Sherlock play by Vertigo before but I know that now I'll be keep an eye for future ones! I went with a friend and we both had a really enjoyable evening, quoting lines on our journey home. I would give this 5 thumbs up, the story was perfect and fit well with the cast, the cast themselves were so enjoyable to watch. Even though we had to sit all the way in the back I still had a fantastic time! Thank you so much for reading!

May Meeting at The Friar and Firkin!
Hey everyone (::cough::notdead::cough::)! We will be having our next meeting at The Friar and Firkin (160 John Street) next Sunday (May 15)!
As you guys know Sherlock is currently filming the fourth season, so we will take this as a chance to sit and chat about what sort of 'wishlist' you'd like to see in the next series! (We will try our best to avoid setlock spoilers unless you guys prefer to chatter about that!)
The resturant menu is here: http://firkinpubs.com/thefriarandfirkin/menu.html
If you need directions here's the link to google map: https://goo.gl/maps/YWVpgS5gFsN2
Please RSVP to [email protected] by Friday (May 13) at 11:59pm so I can make a reservation on Saturday! :)
Hope to see you guys there!

My Sherlockian London Adventure! Hello! My name is Morgan, you may have seen me on the Sherlock Canada Twitter as (-M) I now have access of the tumblr and decided to make my first post while I'm in London! I went to the Sherlock Holmes museum and it was very very busy, very crowded, that's why I couldn't get really good pictures! But it was cool to see the things relating to the different short stories I grew up on. I of course had to go to the gift shop, where I picked up a few things. I got a wax sealer with my initial on it, all of my friends are getting letters now haha. I also got a puzzle book (I have finished 5 of them already :D ) and a pin! Which I have used for sneaky fandom love. Overall a great experience! I sadly have not had time to go to Speedy's cafe or St.Barts but it means that I have to come back! I did have the fortune of meeting with Sora from the BakerStBabes! We meet up and showed me some filming locations for BBC Sherlock, when we got to Mycrofts office someone was filming there! It wasn't setlock, but rather an American tv show named guild. It was still cool and then we had dinner in a pub, it was a great time and we talked a lot. I got some really cool advice from her and can't wait to keep up talking to her (she will probably be getting a letter haha) I am so thankful that I got to meet her. I think that is a great experience for having 3 days here! Next I'm traveling around the uk, hoping to go to Cardiff and maybe see a glimpse of setlock for real. Then I am ending my journey in Paris. I hope you like my post and I'll be posting again soon! Thanks! -M
