Holly & her daughter Venetia are a design duo that revitalized a 16th century former convent in Tuscany after 60 years of neglect. They took an unconventional approach to the conversion filling the rooms with objects and artworks of their own making.

A young couple’s recently renovated brownstone in Upper Manhattan, whose 1898 Renaissance Revival façade gives way to timeless architecture and decor. Original woodwork, much of it cleverly reworked, sets the stage for a trove of vintage and antique furnishings.

The living area features vintage furnishings, among them a Chesterfield sofa and Art Deco armchairs that were recovered. The fireplace combines old (the firebox, the wood chimneypiece) with new (the stone trim).
