Title: On Darkling Wings

Fandom: Voltron: Legendary Defenders

Pairing: Keith/Shiro, Shiro/OMC

Warnings: This is a reincarnation AU.  They don’t stay dead permanently, but they ARE reincarnated, therefore, must die.  A lot.  To get reincarnated a lot.  Also mentions of non-con (not Shiro/Keith).

Summary: Eons ago, a legend was born about the Darkling; a Demi-God who stole the God Caltek’s most prized possession. The reality was far more tragic, for eons ago, the Gods created a perfect creature. Shiro was beautiful and they fought amongst themselves to keep him. Caltek, God of War, won the right and he pampered and cared for this perfect being. His creature was human though, and humans, no matter how perfectly they had been formed, were fiercely independent. When the Darkling fell to Shiro’s world, he taught Shiro the nature of love, and of the prison his life was.

When I saw that one prompt was a Starfighter AU, I had to draw for this prompt. I've had the Starfighter Sheith AU idea since summer 2018 and was so excited to see how other people think of a Voltron/Starfighter crossover!

He knows that without it, he can never hope to be self-reliant, stuck in a land that he can’t understand and unable to get around. Instead, Shiro sends out a call for help on a flyer: teach me English and I will teach you Japanese.

That call is answered by Keith, who is also looking for help.

“I don’t want him to feel like he has to learn English and that we’re not gonna do anything for him.”

Keith’s ambling around the kitchen area of his dorm, a communal one, unfortunately, his phone wedged between his shoulder and ear.

“I feel like it would be rude if he were the only one who had to change himself in order to fit in here, and I just don’t want him to think that he has to conform. That’s, like, prime entitled American. We’re his hosts, it’s only courtesy that we try to learn his culture instead of only him learning ours.”

Keith stops, checking on the simmering meat. “So, what you’re saying, is that you want me to possibly teach you?”

“Keith, you’re one of my best friends,” she starts, taking on that same tone she uses when she’s trying to placate him and butter him up in order to slowly slide him toward agreeing with what she wants to happen. “We’ve known each other for so long, we’ve been through so much together, I would never use you like that—”

“Japanese isn’t hard if you put your mind to it.”

“Oh, thank god, I was really scared there—”

Tomb For Butterflies

Twenty years ago, Galra “contracted” a group of humans and transported them to Naxzela to work in the mines. Soon people realized the so-called "job” was nothing but indentured servitude: only the Galra can sever a contract and set their human worker free.

Nowadays most humans on Naxzela work - and die - in the mines.

Takashi Shirogane managed to win the gladiator tornament two years ago; he was granted freedom and sent off planet. It was presumed he was gone for good, until one day Keith found him unconscious on his doorstep…

Shiro wasn’t supposed to be here. That was all Keith could think of when he found Shiro passed out in the slums. This was where people ended up if they failed in life. Keith belonged here, but Shiro didn’t.

Summary:

Keith’s a psychic.

He doesn’t tell anybody.

Until, a girl named Allura, a clairvoyant who can spot psychics, takes him in and lets him know he isn’t alone.

But he needs to keep a secret.

And he does.

Until, after six years of being together, his boyfriend proposes to him.

And Keith tells him.

But, the next day, he’s arrested for being a psychic.

And Keith can’t believe Shiro would turn him in, after all he had trusted him with.

Some stuff I did for @Sheithpromptbang but I couldn’t contact my partner, so  I’m also not sure if this qualifies cause I can’t link their story.
