This is about all of what's going on in America at the moment, so if you're unable to hear any of this then please don't read, if you're unwilling to change your mind about some things don't read.
Trump is not making America great again, he's bringing it down further than it already is. He's attacking people who are at the lowest of the american totem pole, and his supporters are cheering him on. If you are one of his supporters I'm asking you to read this and just listen to what I'm saying.
Trump is singling out people of color (specifically immigrants), women, and LGBTQIA+ people, (specifically trans people), and that's the first step in his plan. He is taking people who are already vulnerable to mistreatment and pushing them further down. He's not only targeting criminals or predators, we can see that In the first hand accounts of the concentration camps that he's putting these people in, with no due process. He's not only targeting undocumented immigrants either, there are plenty of people who have their papers in order, who are at these prisons and camps, living in inhumane conditions. The conditions these people are in are not fit for any human being, no matter what they've done. But especially not for people whose only crime is existing on the wrong side of a made up line. These are human beings, it could very easily be you under different circumstances. Not only that but he's cut funding for childrens cancer research, and narcan. And if you know anything about narcan it has many uses, it helps addicts yes, but it also would help that child down the road who picked up something off the street. It would help your grandma who accidentally took too many of her meds this morning. And it would help people who are struggling more than they should be with things that no human should have to go through. These are all human beings. An intrinsic part of true humanity is caring for those that are at a disadvantage in life. Whether that be for a disability, a skin color, a mental illness, or any other reason. Being human is caring about those less fortunate than you. And voting for him doesn't show your humanity. I'm a queer teenager who was born a girl living in Texas. I had a miscarriage from an assault when I was 12 years old. If I hadn't had a miscarriage there is a high chance I would have died trying to give birth to that baby, but because of Texas abortion laws caused by the overturning of roe v Wade, I wouldn't have been able to get care until it was actively threatening my life. That wasn't my fault, I was a child and I would have died without my miscarriage and I could have died anyways. With the house republicans they are wanting to block abortion care, they are wanting to make situations like mine and worse unavoidable, and leave women and children without medical care. Worse things are going to happen with Trump in office. The people he's going after don't deserve this. But he's paving the way for another genocide. I'm not fear mongering, this is an actual fact, if you look at history objectively we've seen these patterns multiple times before and it always ends the same. Please listen to me when I say this, you can change, you can make this right. You can protect people, a lot of you are Christian, so actually love thy neighbor. Jesus himself walked with all kinds of "morally reprehensible" people for the time and he still loved them and more importantly he showed them respect. I grew up extremely Christian, so I know how hard challenging the things you were raised with is, but I promise you it is worth it.
