Hi, this is a blog for the smol pupper dork Achim Radu Visarion, a BNHA child muse with a wolf quirk. He’s homeless, he’s vicious, he’s a trouble maker but don’t let that scare you, he can be cute too!

 Those were wise words, and Tomura had no doubt they were just spoken by a wise man as well. The air around and him presence, there was something almost soothing about it and the way he carried his years in the wrinkles of his face, wise and deign.

— “Some would argue exhaustion is nothing but product of a troubled life as well.” Tomura argues softly, a slight curl of the corner of his lips upward denoting a certain playfulness to the action. His crimson gaze is steady on Marcus, giving him all his attention not too differently from someone admiring a particular interesting piece of art, and he finds himself staying on his spot, not drawing back even as he gets closer than he would allow any stranger to stand to him.

— “I’d love to, if you truly do wish company.” There’s an excited fluttering in the bottom of his chest, the kinda thing he didn’t feel since he was a teenager to whom Sensei had just gotten the exact new book he wanted, “I’ll leave at dawn, but until then we can enjoy the view like two akin spirits. Do you believe in fate, Marcus?”

A slow nod of agreement for that remark and a momentarily flash of a smile to mirror the younger man’s. It’s odd though; in part Marcus feels the weight of his red gaze as he approaches, the solemn, steady and unmoved demeanor that doesn’t show even the slightest bit of intimidation. But then again, it’s something the older man can appreciate, in a way, as most would naturally avoid a large, imposing, muted predator of a man. And, it also triggers a mild curiosity as well, since such is the gaze of a very tried individual. 

Taking a few more steps, Marcus settles himself on a ledge and turns his attention back to the city below, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees. With a quick motion of his head, he silently welcomes his company for the time being. “...Fate?” he intones a bit surprised. An odd question, but he’ll entertain that discussion. “...Not necessarily. I suppose... it’s not always a comfortable thought, knowing you’re not fully in control of your own life and decisions.” he answers slowly, lowly, no rush to get the words out whatsoever. “...Though other times i try to accept that some times simply were or are meant to be.” a small shrug of his broad shoulders before he turns towards his companion. 

         “  hmm ?  ”

      DARK HAIR moves as her head turns to face him ,  stopping on her tracks as she sips from her coffee without much worry .  eyebrow rises at watching him struggle with his own jacket ,  but when he is handing it to her a little smile appears on her face   —   not a fake one ,  but a genuine and felt smile .  how sweet …

      “  …  it is a bit cold indeed .  thank you ,  marcus .  ”  eiko decides to humor it ,  switching the jacket to her coffee so he could hold it while she got dressed .  it was a bit too big on her ,  but that was fine with eiko really   —   if anything ,  it being so large and baggy on her just made it more comfortable to wear .

      with another thanks to the man ,  she grabs her coffee once more ,  but does not start moving just yet ;  instead ,  the woman poses .  “  do i look good ?  ”  is said with a small smirk and giggle ,  before she stops and begins to walk once again .  “  trick question -  i look good in everything ,  as well as in nothing at all !  ”  another chuckle ,  and she begins to walk away towards her apartment ,  dancing slightly as she sips from her still warm coffee ( thank god ) .

...Why does he feel like he actually hadn’t done anything useful to help? Probably because, in all honesty, she didn’t need help. But rather he helped himself, in a way. It sounds weird, but being faced with Eiko’s relaxed and carefree demeanor both perplexes the old man and stirs an odd sense of admiration. For a brief moment, he does appear a little lost in though, but Marcus helps her to the best of his ability, holding her cup for her and giving a small courteous nod of approval to her question. Or rather trick question. 

As she walks in front of him, the man remained for a brief moment staring. Thinking. Weighing in if there’s any further meaning to her teasing or if it’s just surface level. There’s a wash of embarrassment flooding him for a moment for his own inability to properly discern the subtleties of socializing with other people. 

Still he follows in silence until they reach her apartment. She’d been kind enough to invite him over to finish their drinks and there’s also some things he left at her place ever since the villain attack. As he made himself comfortable in a seat, Marcus stared down at his reflection in that cup of coffee as he tried to find his words. “...Eiko, may i ask something?” he calls out, not too loud, but not low either. 

Silently, Himiko stalked her prey for her next attack, somewhat “swimming” through the pile of autumn leaves, shoes taken off at some point to avoid the crunch underfoot when socked feet touched the ground. She waited until Achim started to worry before she popped up yet again, humming the tune to the Jaws theme.

“Gotcha, hero boy!” she teased, legs wrapping around his waist and arms flying around his shoulders, once again like a koala – or more adequately, like a backpack, since she was behind him. Her chin settled on his shoulder and she grinned, nuzzling her cheek against his.

“If I was really a villain, you’d be dead by now.” she taunted, sing-song. “I’da stabbed my knife riiight … here!”

She smacks his side and giggles loudly, fingers descending in wiggling motions to tickle him to death and, inevitably, draw him back down into the depths of the foilage below.

Keen hearing and all, it’s still hella hard to properly distinguish which rustling of leaves is from the blowing of chilly autumn breeze and which belonged to a certain girl that’s sneaking up to him from behind. Achim realizes on when it’s took late to avoid her attack so he submits to being captured like that. Naturally it got him hunched over as he struggled for a second to support her added weight somewhat comfortable. But he’d still groan and moan like a drama queen. 

“UGH, you really gotta lay off the ice cream! You weight a freakin’ ton!” no, she didn’t, but he needed something to get back at her, especially now when she’s rubbing her face against him. Technically he deserved this because, well, he kinda started it. So he’ll take it like a man. 

That until she starts tickling him, that’s when he loses it and the panicked laughter begins. 

“Wait, wait, WAAhahahahaHAAAA---IT!!!!” too late, he’s falling back into the leaves. Though this time, the rustling is significantly bigger as he struggles to get away from that attack. But since it doesn’t seem like he’s escaping it anytime soon and Toga is definitely not stopping on her own, Achim resorts to having to grab her wrists in his hands in order to catch a break. 

“FREAKIN’ HELL WOMAN! You nearly actually KILLED ME! I couldn’t breathe anymore!” it’s true, between tickle induced laughs, remembering to breathe is nearly impossible. Naturally he’s compensating now, taking deep breaths and trying to contain that alert heartbeat in his chest. Another groan and a roll of his eyes; he’s NOT trusting her right now to not start again, so he’s not letting go of her wrists anytime soon. 

A few moments pass and while the laughter induced panic is fading, Achim realizes he’s somehow ended up lying on his back on a bed of leaves with Toga half-ish on top of him. The realization quickly made that overly annoyed expression fade into a half blank, half dumbfounded silent stare at her. 

Leia had just taken a fairly large bite of her own waffle when he replied and couldn’t respond right away. A half snort like giggle did escape though at his explanation, he was trying to make a pun? It was a fairly good attempt at one, least she thought it was, although she felt a bit bad for not picking up on it right away.

“Mmmm..!” She nodded, another chuckle escaping as she took a moment to finish chewing and then swallowing what she had in her mouth, not wanting to talk with her mouth full. “I see what you mean now, sorry I didn’t pick up on your word play at the beginning.” Did she need to apologize? Maybe not, but she still did anyway as he had to explain his joke to her, making it less fun at that point.

She smiled softly while watching him rub the back of his neck a bit embarrassed at her suggestion, though a wide smile did appear on his face at the thought for a moment. “I’m sure we’ll both be great at it! Even when we aren’t trying too, you know? Just be your kind self and I’m sure you’ll do fine.” 

Leia wasn’t expecting Achim’s voice to come out a bit quieter and softer when he spoke next, making her think he was going to tell her he wouldn’t be good at it. But instead he told her something quite personal, something she doubted he’s shared with anyone else before, or perhaps one person beside herself. This made her a mixture of happy he was comfortable enough to share this with her, while also sorry that it had happened to him in the first place. 

“Achim….” She reached over to hold his hand, or even touch his arm gently, but she decided not too as he might not want to be touched at the moment. Or want him to feel like she was pitying him about his previous situation, which she wasn’t at all! She was much more concerned he had such a rough time and had to literally fend for himself. “I’m sorry that happened to you, but I’m glad you are in UA now and don’t have to worry about were your next meal and or place to rest will be.” Also not eating wild animals… it was a miracle he didn’t get sick from eating them, maybe his wolf quirk helped with that?

Come to think of it… how did he get into UA without money? Maybe- no, no she shouldn’t be asking this right now, it wasn’t the right time. Even if he doesn’t seem to be too upset about his previous situation, though he might not want to worry her about it and tried to play it off as not a big deal.

“I think that’s a wonderful and sweet idea.” Leia smiled at him warmly, it was so kindhearted of him to want to make sure other kids didn’t end up growing up on the streets like he did. “If it’s okay? I’d love to help you out too however I can. I could get some plants from my grandmother’s garden so you’d have some fruits and vegetables for them. Or maybe a babysit when I can to help you.”

Leia was about to continue, but some movement over Achim’s shoulder caught her attention, making her lean to the left a bit to see what was going on. A tiny part of her felt she was being nosy as it could be nothing, however Hawks had taught her to always be aware of her surroundings and follow her gut after working with him. 

It didn’t take her long to spot the large looking individual who looked to be picking up speed, was getting closer to where they were. More items were being shoved to the side as if they were nothing as they ran, showing they were indeed moving swiftly and in their direction. Wait…! The kids! The direct path of this person was going to run through where the kids were playing!

Quickly she jumped to her feet, tossing the bit of waffle cone she had left into the trash nearby. “We need to hurry and get the kids out of the oncoming danger, NOW!” She didn’t have time to fully explain as the threat was fast approaching and if they didn’t act now it would be too late.

Immediately Leia bolted to where the kids were currently playing, hoping her speed would be enough to grab as many kids as she could out of harms way. Along with Achim who wouldn’t be too far behind her, even with her very short explanation on the situation.

Keen gaze picked on her attempted gesture and his heart sank a little bit when she decided against holding his hand. Would it be selfish to reach out himself now? Leia is such a nice and sweet and compassionate person he’d almost feel ashamed to get involved too much or get too close. Because he did not think he was good enough to reach her level. Only a small smile is given as he listens to her replies and Achim enjoyed for a brief moment that warm, fuzzy feeling he got in his gut. It felt... nice. A rare feeling he’d definitely add to the archives of his mind and cherish it like a precious memory. 

Though, that last remark of hers didn’t quite register because suddenly he was distracted by something. Pointy ears twitched lightly as he picked on subtle, distant sounds and vibrations. Abnormal ones that had no place in a crowded mall, like a large animal charging into an attack... One small look back at Leia’s face and her expression was enough to send him into an adrenaline rush. 

“What the fu-!!!” jumping to his feet, his whole body jerked when he saw the large figure charging towards them. Unlike her, his cone is dropped carelessly as his brain is registering the current development; people rushing away from their path as he plowed like a tank through stands, benches, trashcans whatever it could. The individual’s grave voiced echoed threateningly ‘FOOLS! NOTHING CAN STOP THE RHINO!” followed by a maniacal laughter. It was heading their way, aiming for a jewelry store and cutting right through the play spot of the kids. 

“LEIA, WAIT!!! YOU CAN’T-!!!” shit, she’d already gone in! 

His brain immediately went into auto pilot. 

One, two, three, four, five, six, SEVEN. One could fly, that leaves SIX. Leia can’t pick up more than TWO, that leaves FOUR. If he could grab the last four there’s no GUARANTEE that he won’t harm them while picking/tossing them out of harms’ way. 

Can’t save them all.

DEFLECT THE ATTACK. 

Strong legs propel his body forward into a rapid sprint in the direction opposite of Leia, perpendicular to the trajectory of the villain. With one precisely timed lunge and a twist of of body, Achim body slammed his right shoulder as hard as he could into the large man. It wasn’t enough to stop him, but it was enough to make him lose his balance and trip, hitting the ground with a loud thump and leaving a crack into the pavement. 

‘What the HELL!!! Who did that!? YOU TWERP! The RHINO WILL CRUSH YOU!’ yup, that’s a natural reaction, time to get on his feet and scurry the fuck out of there. Fuck, his arm hurt. Luckily this villain is as slow as a drunk, overweigh panda so while he struggled to get back up, Achim was already sprinting back towards Leia, gesturing frantically with his good arm. 

He was so excited to get a waffle filled with ice cream and toppings, she couldn’t help but smile widely up at him with a quick nod. “Mmm! Let’s get ourselves a treat first before we decide where we want to go next.” There was one store in particular she wanted to go too, but it didn’t need to be their first stop. Plus she wanted to know what sorts of things he liked, though by his current wardrobe he liked spikey accessories. 

Leia wasn’t expecting the waffle cones to be quite as big either after they ordered, but they sure looked delicious! She couldn’t help but beam noticing that they both ended up getting berries as toppings, hers being only strawberries while he had a mixture of berries on his. This was already feeling like a special treat for her, due to not having food outside of UA campus in a really long time. Making her hold it extra carefully not wanting to accidently drop it, however it became even more of a special treat when Achim insisted on paying for hers too. He really didn’t need too, but the gesture was still kind nonetheless. If he realizes it or not, she was going to be paying for anymore food and or drinks as her treat to him.

Once seated to eat she couldn’t help but hum lowly at how good the food was after the first few bites, moving her legs slightly as she did. Glancing up at Achim a moment to make sure he was also enjoying his own before looking around the mall. It sure was busy in here today, or was this how busy it normally was? It’s been too long since she’s gone to the mall, so she probably forgotten how much traffic runs through on a regular basis.

“Hmm?” Leia glanced at Achim for a second when he spoke, before following his gaze and where he was pointing. Soon spotting the kid he was wanting her to see, they did appear to have a flight quirk of some kind. Pushing themselves off of the ground with little effort, however landing was a different story as they wouldn’t always be able to catch themselves before hitting the ground. “They are quite determined to get the hang of their quirk, perhaps to show off to the other kids-” She paused, realizing Achim just called the other kids friends minion’s and let out a low snort, covering her mouth with her free hand to try hide it. Though she was fairly sure he heard her, even without his heightened hearing.

“Achim… the other kids are friends not minions, silly.” She bit the inside of her cheek slightly not to laugh, but a small chuckle ended up escaping. Did he get his words mixed up? Or did he really think other kids who followed one kid in particular minions?

“But um…! I do agree with you. I’m sure a lot of it is because the kids are inspired by their favourite heroes, making them want to become a hero themselves and so they want to work even harder at controlling their quirk.” Which is what she had done as a child, along with wanting to become heroes with her childhood friends. “Well, we better continue inspiring new heroes once we become pro heroes, right?” Leia looked up at Achim and gave him a bright smile, it would be an honour for her to inspire a new generation of heroes. Especially those who don’t have an offensive quirk like her own.

Admittedly his waffle cone was disappearing a bit faster than hers, and really, it’s no wonder at all considering those big, hungry bites he’s chomping off it. But who can blame him, it’s a really good dessert and he’s not getting it every single day. And judging by her reaction, it seemed Leia was under the same impression. Waffle ice cream, best idea ever~!

“Oh, i know, i knoooow...!” Achim moaned at her explanation. “But like, look at how they’re following that kid! And they’re all smaller so... they’re mini? Mini-ons? Get it?” cue a messy chuckle, is this even how word puns even worked? Even after all these years he’s still not the best with his grasp on proper language and how to use it. 

A hand rose to rub the back of his neck sheepishly. “Yeah, i guess you’re right... The whole ‘inspiring others once we become pro heros’ and all...” for a brief moment he seemed thoughtful, the wide smile slightly diminishing from his lips as he kept looking at the groups of playing children. 

“I think it should go like... a bit more than just being inspiring though...” another bite out of his waffle cone, a smaller one he seemed to actually enjoy for a bit before he continued his idea. “...I kinda, ugh, grew up on the streets up until i was like 11-12 or so. I can’t remember a whole lot just--- kinda woke up one day, realized it’s just me here and just rolled with it. I thought it’s normal to hunt for squirrels and rabbits for a meal. And sleep in trees. OR warm ventilation grills, hehe!” a small awkward laugh there; admittedly, he’s a bit caught reminiscing for a moment to realize that the subject might’ve been a bit heavy for the light tone of their hanging out-date-outing. 

Twice recoiled at the sudden movement, surprised at the size and sounds that came tumbling out of the shadows. It was a kid?!

“What the fu-uhhhhh-nny looking wolf?!” Seriously, what the hell is a child doing out this late at night playing pretend in the garbage? Staying crouched so as not to scare the scrappy little urchin Twice tilted his head questioningly.

“Hunting me?…Oh cause you’re a wolf! I’d have preferred a kitty. Well I can tell ya right now I ain’t worth eating. You’d probably get brain damage. Can’t be that smart if he’s playing in garbage.” With a shake of his head Twice took a closer look at the child, noting the aggressive stance and dishevelled appearance. A runaway maybe?

As he pondered he rolled the candy bar around in his palm and noticed the kid’s bright eyes following the movement. Holding up the candy Twice asked.

“You want this?”

Without a second thought he tossed the treat towards the boy and slowly stood up. He could feel the cold seeping through his thick jacket yet here was the kid looking like the cover boy for dirty rags weekly out here running around hungry.

“….You need a place to sleep?”

All it takes to throw all of his concentration away is to see the candy back flying towards him. Suddenly he’s not a vicious wolf sneakily stalking his prey into cold, unfeeling night. He’s just a puppy jumping after a treat. 

He’s quick to unwrap it and starts munching right away, taking big bites that flash his pointy chompers to this stranger. Part of it is because he’s hungry, but it’s also chocolate which is freaking delicious. “...thamks.” a small mumble as he’s stuffing his face. No longer hostile, Achim now takes an even better look at the man. And he pays a bit more attention to what he’s saying. Which is a lot, by his own standards, and the kid is sure there were some not some nice words in there, but he’s used to it at this point so it’s not very effective. 

“I s-sleep in there!” chubby finger points at a warehouse behind the gas station. He’s found a vent that somehow blows slightly warm air and made a nice cardboard bed for himself for this night. “W-Where do you sleep? Do you sleep he-here too?”

Marcus’ version. 

It happened so quickly and so naturally there was very little time to properly register the new development that suddenly cut the flow of their conversation. Marcus only remembered hearing the distinct ping! of the plastic button as it fell unto the ground and rolled in front of them, immediately drawing his eyes to see it now lying down not to far from them. Then his eyes went to her face. Then they went down to her chest. Then back up to her face. It wasn’t until he got winked at that he felt the rush of embarrassment and the heat reaching his face.

“...Uhm, Eiko?” it’s meek and lowly intoned as the man is left behind a few steps, stunned in place by how casually she dismissed the whole deal. God, he’s not properly equipped to deal with this...! Not that he’d taken any sort of offence, not at all, a woman should be free to feel comfortable no matter her clothing, or lack there of. But call him all fashioned and all when getting concerned at this kind of wardrobe malfunction.
