My favorite neighborhood in Newport. Blessedly overlooked by tourists who clamor to see the mansions 🙄 on Bellevue Avenue, “The Point” is a charming neighborhood filled with exceptional colonial architecture (thank you Doris Duke). It’s a real and vital neighborhood - with all the good and bad that comes with real life vs a museum or tourist destination.
