“Wait…almost everyone did?” It was sort of hard to hear that as she took the candy bar from the other. Coleen opened it and unwrapped it, taking a bite. The feeling of food again was a welcomed one. Still, it was hard to think that everyone just accepted it. Maybe she could have told them.

She chuckled a bit. “Come on, you know me. I’m going to worry anyway. It’s…sad to hear that not everyone made it, but I’m not sure anyone thought I did. Hell knows that Tex did her fair share of damage before I escaped. Same with Carolina.

“It’s still good to see at least you’re alright.”

  NEVADA smiled at her friend when shown concern for her. As if C.T. had   no idea what Nevada did during training and even on the battlefield with the   others.
