More 3D wall murals the way plays in my fmp and this is because before thinking of how I wanted the structure of my building to be I was thinking internally, how can I take a plane interior and add emphasis to the wall without it appearing flat, in Lisbon there were many building with exterior looking like one of the images above. With this concept I was aiming to create a pattern of my own that would become 3D and stand out through the walls but now as my idea has developed the whole building is surrounded by glass so the new Bly option was either the ceiling or the floor that I had to meddle with to achieve that result.
This is more secondary research of my own that I was looking at, mainly the roman theatre-like stairs descending and the last two images because the aspects they have are the stairs which I was landing on doing behind the building of my final piece as like an outdoor thing where you can just relax or have some sort of entertainment parading around
Secondary inspiration towards how view the interior to slightly have a similar structure and I could also use the peacock room as reference from the v&a as it is very close to these image. With this structure I felt like it gave the building a more traditional energy and religious appearance with the design and form of the arches really stood out to me as I was planning to use recessing walls within the space of my own interior but with the arches here I can recess them to create somewhat if an illusion with a print in the background of the recessed wall with huge pillars.
These are my A1 sheets that shows my intial ideas and me also developing one idea towards its final form. I created a unique shape for my final that would incorporate “a tribute to light” as it is the theme I am trying to achieve. With the final idea I was thinking of a space where it could be open to the public in a sense where it could serve a purpose in others life, a place to be yourself in the comfort of your own personal bubble. With the main inspiration started with Lisbon, I was also trying to shed light on Lisbon glamourised front streets and also exposing the street behind as it is not as glamourised and give off the old traditional building aura.so my purpose for this project was to build a modern building that includes all the elements of Lisbon I liked within the space. I also attempted sketch up and I found it difficult to interpret my idea through as with my circumstances I didn’t have the plugins that would benefit me to showcase me idea clearly so I had to rely on the drawings it self, and I also attempted models which didn’t work out in my favour as I didn’t have the right supply to continue on but if the circumstances were different I know I would have made an extra sheet with my CAD work and another sheet exploring my model in various ways in detail.
FEARS!
This project is based on fears. With the concept of fears I chose the phobias that relates to me, Acrophobia being the fear of heights and Claustophobia. The elements of prints inside the structure plays a part with the fear of heights, when looking from above the patterns are an illusion that makes you feel as if your falling into a void hence the acrylic plate. With the wooden poles this showcases claustrophobia just by showing the entrapment of the pieces involved and by imagining yourself in there, there will be no sense of movements happening in there.

I CAN’T BELIEVE I ATE THE WHOLE THING!
This project is based on food. Either it being external or internal, I chose to think more internally.
With the images above you can see that I have been exploring the shape of large intestines which play a part in my projects structure and I’ve been also looking at capillaries as well. The organs featured has an involvement in the way we eat so with that I started planning my restaurant structure that could be placed in various areas such as a hospital which will be more likely to place as it’s with bodies.
BREXCHOSIS
This project is based on brexit. With this project the goal was to produce a sanctuary/ refuge where a person/people could stay among the political changes that happening around the uk. Not having to worry about the changes as they won’t be impacted being in this structure of mine. I’ve explored different ways the structures form could be placed, I’ve also played about with design patterns and also used sketch up to plan how the structure would be viewed til making the final piece itself.
External project
BLACK MIRROR
This project is based around social satire within politics. Social satire is a fictional representation that uses humour to create irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticise the behaviour of people especially in a social or political context.
With that concept I created my final, which is based on emotions hence the primary colours on there. As the bottom based is still the second based spins whatever emotion it stops at showcases the the hidden emotion internally and exposes the other emotion actually shown on the surface. You could be happy on the surface and sad internally or angry on the surface but envious internally. This way it creates it own satire that exposes emotions. And if I was to give it context it could be an object some can stand into and detect their emotion by spinning to their emotions that they are currently feeling. Maybe this could be placed in therapy clinics with its own separate room designed for detecting people’s emotions.
Internal structures
An introductory project for my first year of level 3,Which was to do with our whole body. You could see in the images above I started experimenting with mod rock with a peer’s fist I started layering and massaging it in the hand for the details of the first to peek through and created with clay a shelving-like structure to hold all my internal parts included in the final project.

OBSERVATIONS
This is an observational drawing where i drew what was in front of me with various objects layered on top to create a unique shape for the observer to draw. I used charcoal to produce the drawing above.
