The “HOW” is where the magic happens. Life is mostly how we perceive it or HOW we choose to see it. People always ask how I stay positive or how I stay motivated. I not always positive or motivated to be honest. BUT I choose to see the bright spots. I choose to believe “I can!” You can too.

Take the chance! Too often we decide that we can’t and we miss out on opportunities. What if you just went after it?

Tackling this thing we call Monday with my coffee and protein!

It’s Monday. So here’s a little pep talk to face the day!

One day at a time. I love the quote I heard anxiety lives in the future and depression in the past. You can’t change yesterday. It’s done. Wrap a bow on it. You can’t get started on tomorrow yet, it’s not here. So let’s focus on today. What are you going to tackle TODAY?!

This one is hard to swallow. But it’s true. You must do the head work and heart work before you can change your physical self.

Every single minute, hour, day is filled with choices. You have to be clear on where you are going, focused on your end game and dedicated to your journey and every choice you make should filter through these steps. When you break them down into small choices it can be simpler. It’s not did I pass or fail today. And when your day is 51/49 learn from the choices that didn’t get you what you want.

Thought this was fitting considering I’ve been working like crazy the past fews days trying to pack everything into a work trip. Hope it speaks to you too.

Sometimes way longer than you think. Sometimes it happens when you’re not looking. But if it’s worth it, you’ll get there. Keep digging in daily.

To all of you and yours I hope today is nothing but love and laughter! Whether you are with friends or family, whether you are where you thoughts you’d be or where you hoped to be I hope you see that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be!

Said goodby to the amazing folks that I have worked with for the past 12.5 years today! So bitter sweet. They have become family and I loved the work we did. But with every chapter closed a new one begins! Many of you have supported or given to the kids I worked with before and I’m so thankful! I’m still doing social work and I’ll share all that I’m up to soon!

Last night i had the wonderful privilege of volunteering at an event to support at risk youth. The view was amazing, the people generous and the the company fantastic!
