Message from the Past for the Future
I’m writing this in May, 2016.
Came across some weird stuff about Chuck Klosterman saying Radiohead’s KID A (released in October, 2000) sorta predicted the events of September 11, 2001, which I had never heard about before.
This theory has been around publicly since at least 2005, when Klosterman’s book Killing Yourself to Live came out. A dude named Alex Vassifer wrote this blog post a short time after that. I don’t remember how I came across it, but I read it on May 17, 2016.
Been listening to KID A all day today (the next day) and looking at related stuff on the Internet. There’s no reason to publish this post on May 18th, so I’m just going to queue it for September 11, 2016 (15-year anniversary of the event) and try to move on.
