Today, I started the next chapter in my career, as I'm now officially the Arena Manager at @georgebellarena! I began my journey within community services nearly 15 years ago, as a part-time programs staff who couldn't believe they were getting paid to play sports. Yet, those few hours per week turned into so much more — I had found a career path. Working to earn progressive experience ever since, managing a variety of positions throughout numerous facilities, I'm proud of the building blocks that have helped guide my climb. I look forward to taking on the responsibility of empowering a team, influencing meaningful progress, and enriching the community. Today is my last day as Facility Coordinator at @fordcentre. This role impacted the trajectory of my career, in the best way. For the past (nearly) five years, I was granted an open-ended opportunity to create, develop, and progress. I'm extremely proud of all that I was able to achieve — personally and professionally. And to say that it was an amazing place to work as a hockey fan would be an understatement.
