[First Aid bites and claws at the many hands that reach for him. he's able to cause some damage, but not much; the net is in the way, and some of it is still cutting into his gills. he eventually has to stop and let them take him when the blood on his teeth goes from the bright red of humans to the syrupy near-black of mer.]

[the specimen was thankfully stored correctly, the poor little (not really little) creature sulking alone at the bottom of the tank. Heavy boots took light calm steps as Brainstorm entered the storage deck, pulling up an empty crate to sit across from the mer, casual but imposing]

[Brainstorm leans in towards the creature again, and awww it was trying to be threatening. How cute. Pathetic and desperate, but cute.]

[Supplies had run short during their extended research trip. The head of this expedition didn’t even humor the idea of returning empty-handed, even for things such as food. He insisted that if someone were to get hungry, to pick up a net and fetch their own meal.] [A week in and ship had been on high alert from the moment word got out about the ship’s sudden “strange encounter” up until the crew’s supervisor arrived on deck, going from curious commotion to scared silence in a matter of moments. Brainstorm didn’t give a single one of them a glance as he approached the ensnared creature, giving it a good look before sighing] Well, I’ll give you lot this: it’s technically a fish.

[First Aid aims an angry, piercing whistle at the rude newcomer; it comes out less powerful than he'd like, due to the fact that he is in Air instead of Ocean and that the fine strands of the net are currently snagged deeply into his right set of gills. he compensates by flashing his teeth as well]

add “reverse” to swap which muse is the mer
