With a swift side sweep of a part, the familiar is made fresh again. A wisp of hair here, an asymmetrical part there, all with a high-gloss finish… Though seemingly counterintuitive, the right touch of undone-ness can add to a sense of order. The structured layering, especially in the case of the Blå Konst ensembles, offers up some symmetrical rigor that’s echoed by the ever-so-slightly askew hair part. The subtle shift, meticulously misaligned and recalibrated, softens it up, offering a relief in its counterbalance.
