Humble but a Hustler

A happy ending for everyone, then. Animals tend to be chill if they have their own space and don’t feel so crammed all the time. Has the kitten gotten into any trouble since you’ve brought it home yet? It’s definitely something I’m looking forward to this year. I’ve thought a lot about getting some animals to fill up all the space I have around here. Already started on my garden so I’m really looking forward to getting some more pets. Perhaps I’ll get another dog… who knows. That’s alright! I understand. 

Yeah the house is plenty big for everyone to have their own piece of space so there haven’t been any fights, thank goodness. He gets into everything. Always on the counter, always knocking boxes over though he has forced me to be a lot neater so I can’t say that it’s horrible. You’ve just got one? Two? There’s plenty more space for more pets. What are you going to be growing in your garden? I love flowers so much but I have the worst habit of killing them so I can’t even try to start a garden, there would be absolutely no point. I can pay you in pizza though.

You know, I’ll probably take you up on that because it’s an excellent idea. I could use the practice though I’m usually up early anyways. Even if she wasn’t, I’m sure she could talk her way out of it so we wouldn’t give her the talk anyways. Time really flies when a demon’s in control. Thank you, we try our best. I do need to talk to the writers though because they owe us a Western episode. So next season better have 2. Yeah, at the end of the day that is the truth.

Oh totally! Any time Brandon, they’re all yours for as long as you want them. Oh trust me, these babies sleep in my room and they know if I’m not up, they get to walk all over me just to get me up. They have a very set schedule that they like to stick to and I’m the worst when it comes to waking up and doing those things. That’s true, Delta is excellent at talking her way out of things. Oh my god! You guys really just left it there didn’t you? I mean... not as traumatising as GoT but damn near close. Yes please! Maybe your western town needs a cute red headed bar maid?

Joshua Tree is just a gorgeous place, and I love it. Being outside is certainly something I can get on board with. That’s good, I’m sure she liked it too? Did she get to play and run around as well? I’ll be rooting for you! So anyway, what’s new with you?

I was definitely not mad at that vacation. I think she did, we didn’t have a horrible time so that’s something right? She had lots of fun running around and climbing on everything, getting super dirty but that’s what it’s all about. Oh man, what’s new... I did a little dance video with a friend, just for fun. I’ve been planning the babies’ birthday party with Lizzie which I think is going to be a lot of fun. Nothing super major though, I’ve got a two year old now which is absolutely insane to me. What about you?

If it means I get to have all the animals I want then I’m all for this marriage, chores and babies. Kit will be devastated but the prospect of having all the animals and babies is just too much for me to turn down.

Can I selfishly say this was totally a way to confirm you and Kit? I’d heard the rumours but ugh you guys are too damn cute! But yes! Dump him, marry me and get a baby and fur babies instantly for free. Sounds like a pretty damn good deal to me plus I get dragons so it’s a win win.

You know the more you tell me to buy a horse the more the temptation grows. I mean, my girlfriend and her kids might enjoy it. I guess its a good thing that I’m planning to move into a slightly bigger house because the backyard it three times bigger than the one I have now. Plenty of room for the hypothetical horse. I would definitely be popular and the envy of the town and I could even have a little side business and charge people for horseback rides. Okay, I read that last sentence wrong and I was taken aback because I thought you said your son was growing weed and now I can’t stop laughing. 

You definitely should, that’s all I’m saying. Yeah they’re great for wooing the ladies. Oh that’ll be fun. Big backyards are always a plus. I had a huge yard the first time I was here but I like the house I’m in now. It’s very homey. Wait you can’t have a side hustle, I could just go get lessons if I wanted to pay to ride a horse, come on now. Oh boy...

Too bad for them if they’re just too blind to see that even if you guys were not their favorites you were strong enough to win anyway. And yes, the trophy is all yours and people are just stuck in their jealousy so shame on them. I was about to suggest to go out tonight but I just remembered that there’s the cook-out. We could see each other there!

Damn right. I mean it’s great to see them passionate but really? Starting petitions to take away our trophies? That might be too far. It is and it’s really really shiny. It may just be the greatest thing I’ve ever done... besides having a kid of course. It was so great spending time with you on the trip! We should do more girls days together! Get manis and pedis or something.

Seems legit. I think prison is just prison. There’s hardly a better alternative. It’s a little different than picking washing detergents. Is that so? I’ve regretted many, many things within minutes of the day’s start. That makes perfect sense. Dogs have very strong opinions about their owners. We have a God complex, and they’re like, “yeah, sure, why not?” I mean, I do also repeatedly punch myself in the face every morning around thirty-two times. It’s the only thing in my morning routine. 

No way, there’s definitely two kinds of prisons. The one I will enjoy and the one I will hate. But none of them were about me right? How can you regret anything when it comes to me? I’m just way too great for that. Yeah that’s true. I also think because they were abandoned they have that need to be loved and the fear of it happening again, which it totally won’t. They’re in my life forever. Yeah but punching yourself is totally different cause you never punch as hard as someone else would. It’s literally impossible.

I think I might have to make the plunge this summer and get my first one, a dog of some kind and I’m sure Leo would love it. That does sound like a good idea though, to keep the chaos down to a minimum. Oh yes, she does but I don’t think there’s anyone in town who isn’t happy with that. Gotta say, that does sound about right. Oh you know, I’m busy being possessed by a demon on tv and just being a good dad off screen. How about you?

Oh my gosh for sure! Kiddos always love animals. I’ve never met a kid who didn’t. If you need practice I’ll offer my babies, you can have them for a week, I won’t even mind. Mornings are crazy though, everyone wants to be fed and go outside and all that stuff but it’s great. I wouldn’t change it for anything. She’s lucky she’s cute or we might have some words about it. Oh my god you’re brilliant. Honestly the new season is... wow. I can’t believe it’s almost the season finale. I love it. Me? I’m just trying my best to get back in shape and be a good mama, the only thing that really matters right?

I approve greatly! My fur babies, that’s for sure. It really was! It was nice to get out there and around and about. I love that it was just a relaxing weekend and with nice weather too. Maybe it’ll be part of a new project for you soon!

I love a good relaxing weekend and Joshua Tree was just absolutely amazing. I think I’d live there if I could. Nature, the trees, the rocks, everything was just so... gosh almost spiritual. Just really really peaceful. It was so great to take Ellie out there and just have a little mama daughter trip too. Yeah maybe! That would be so amazing wouldn’t it? Next project you’re in, I’m so doing it cause you get to do all the cool stuff.

Rashad is definitely one of my top five mirror ball champions, I bet you all learned a lot from one another being on the road with celebs like him, Laurie, Alfonso, and all the others whom joined you all on tour.  I have to admit I might stalk the different dancers via their social media accounts cause I am missing the Spring season of the show.

So any fun plans now that you are back from Australia?

He’s amazing. He’s such a hard worker and just an all around great guy to be with. I don’t know necessarily about learning from them in a professional sense but you definitely learn to see the world differently and just enjoy those moments you do have with people because honestly who gets to spend three months hanging out with Laurie Hernandez? You know? It’s just incredible. We’ll be back in the fall for sure. But it’s fun to catch up with people, see what’s happening, especially with us all being so far away from each other.
