Let The Great World Spin by Colum McCann saved my life. Literally. I was depressed and had a very dark thought of ending my life but I said to mysefl, “Finish a book today. If after reading it you still don’t want to live, then you may proceed.” I picked up the book randomly at the library, attracted by the title, and when I finished the book that day, I cried. I’m still here.
