Has anyone else had major fulfillment issues with Shane Bowden / Bowden Art?

I’m posting to see whether others are experiencing the same issue.

I previously purchased from Shane Bowden’s gallery in San Diego without any problems, so I felt comfortable ordering directly from his website.

Timeline:

Ordered: January 2026

Advertised delivery estimate: 2–4 weeks

Current date: nearly June 2026

Status: still no artwork delivered

Over the past several months, I’ve received multiple explanations, including:

weather delayed drying

“final stages of production”

high demand

handmade production delays

“still actively in production”

Most recently, the company emphasized that each piece is hand-painted and made to order.

My concern is the repeated delays, lack of meaningful shipping updates, and the fact that I’ve now found similar public complaints from other customers.

I’m genuinely trying to determine whether this is:

severe operational backlog

fulfillment problems

something broader affecting multiple customers

If you’ve ordered recently:

Did you receive your order?

Were you able to get a refund?
