We know she’s Peggy’s great niece and so in this film she expresses why she didn’t ever talk about the fact that she was related to Peggy. You know she really wanted to make it on her own. It’s very telling of who Sharon is and her integrity - that she never sort of, wanted to ride on the coat tails of her great aunt’s position in SHIELD. We get a sense even just from that of who she is.

When I was a kid I lived in a apartment- I lived in a flat in london, we didn’t have outdoor space or anything, so like, as a kid you have to figure out things to do to entertain yourself. And I remember at one point I realized that if I got lke, if my palms were really sweaty then I could climb up the door frame, like, by pushing against the side of the door frame you can climb to the top, at like age 5, and I remember thinking “Maybe I’m Spider-Man!”
