Shame on UX

Can we talk about how much anxiety could be relieved if this view was better? Why is back up now and restore buttons identical??? One would destroy everything, and one would save everything. And why do they put a restore buttons next to the update button???? how are they related???? 

Tumblr, why is there not a one click option to see my page? I toggle back and forth A LOT. Isn’t that a MAIN FUNCTION your users need? NONE of those icons in the upper right go to my page. I have to click my icon on the left next to the new post choices and then click AGAIN on my name once in that page. GRRR.

Pinterest has gone downhill. Whyyyy is it so hard to upload a pin?!? Is it that big plus icon??? Nope, that invites ppl to join. Is it that big pin icon??? Nope, that brings me to my profile. I am sooooo angry! Then I figured out it was the little plus icon the header!! TERRIBLE UX PINTEREST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just want a big red “upload” button. the “print now” button just takes you to info on what they offer. oh….. ok, after scanning the page 5x i see “add photos” in a washed out grey in upper right…..

Using the plus icon to mean add AND expand in the same view or even in the same app is a big no-no.
