I actually like sonic more than shadow

First is Werchidna Knuckles. A genetic clone that was Eggman’s attempt at creating a “better” knuckles. However, Eggman didn’t just use Knuckles dna but also literal skeletons from dead echidna warriors, which explains all the bones. Werchidna doesn’t believe that he’s Knuckles but instead believes that he’s the rightful owner of the master emerald and the actual leader of the Tribe, this is due to the bones that were used to make him basically messing up his mind. He truly believes he’s the leader and if Knuckles doesn’t want to give the Master emerald up, he’ll have to take it the hard way. His bones showing isn’t intentional, it’s a genetic failure. And yes, it doubles his pain. If he suffers, why shouldn’t they all suffer?

Now next is Poltergeist Amy. Another doppelgänger made by Eggman. Only this time, she’s an actual ghost mimicking Amy. This ghost is envious of Amy’s life and wants it all to herself. Solution? Recreate Amy in their own way and hunt her down. Her body was made by Eggman and is a crudely made plush that the ghost possesses. She doesn’t want to be Amy but rather wants her life. Her life full of people that respect her, love her, appreciate her, she wants that all to herself. No body would mind if she took Amy away, would they?
