God, this part makes me so emotional.
Everyone giving Emi (Honoka) her moment and the other generations (plus Pile and Aya Uchida) running behind her (symbolizing how they're carrying on the legacy of the first generation) is just too perfect 🥹
Happy 16th anniversary to the franchise that has brought me so much joy for over a decade, especially during the past 6 months. I'm still blown away that 11-year-old me found Love Love School Idol Festival (rip) completely by chance on a random day in summer 2014, and I've been enthralled ever since. I love it almost as much as I love Sonic.
This is a little embarrassing to admit, but before Aqours were announced/revealed, I genuinely thought "Love Live" was just going to be Muse. That's it.
I grew up with Muse, Aqours, and Nijigasaki, and have spent almost all of my adult years with Liella!, Hasunosora, and Ikizulive!. Watching Love Live add amazing groups, characters, and voice actresses to their roster over has made me so glad that 12-year-old me was wrong, because it's now my second favorite franchise ever. Thank you, Love Live.

🎪Thank You For Watching, TADC!🎪
It’s been a long time since I've had to make fan art for the end of TADC. I wanted to thank Gooseworx and GLITCH for making this indie animation. It’s been three years since 2023, I watched the pilot episode and now it ends in 2026. I really enjoyed the finale. I had mixed feelings about that ending, and hopefully I do have some future plans for my TADC AU. 🎪✨❤️💙

Just a small little haul to end the weekend!
We actually found the Yu figurine the same day we got Queenie and all that other cool stuff; I was fine with not getting it, but my dad snuck back into the store and got it for me, and put it in my drawer for me to find after he left last Sunday.
I've been in a big Nijigasaki mood for the past few weeks; I watched the Next Sky OVA, the first part of the finale movie trilogy (the second part still isn't on Crunchyroll 😒), and a couple episodes of the Nijiyon Animation all in one night to bring me comfort after a rough weekend, with the last two things on the list making me cry, particularly because of the songs.
Also, I put those Love Live cards I got a while ago into a binder, decorated it with those adorable stickers (the Rina is new and also from my dad), and then decided that it would be for more fandoms than just Love Live.
Lastly, sorry if the backgrounds for the pictures and video are a bit weird, I had to put a bunch of stuff away due to a big life change coming up, including that fluorescent light that I use for my hauls sometimes, so I had to improvise a bit.
I love all the stuff I got 😊.
What I love especially about the dnd sessions shown here is that Caine isn't the DM and boss like I'd expected, but Gangle is.
Gangle, who always wanted to be a storyteller. Gangle, who was meek and afraid to stand up for herself, gets to be in a position of authority. Gangle, who abused her power in the Spudsy's adventure and made it hell for others and herself, is trusted to create a joyful experience for everyone. And since Caine didn't make her an evil clone, she shall play the villain in her own adventure!
It's the loveliest thing, really.
And Ragatha as the barbarian! Getting to shed the Mom Friend persona and explore a different side of herself in a safe context 🥹
AND CAINE’S THE BARD I JUST LOVE THAT FOR HIM! 😭😭😭
im rly just.. rly tired u know. just so tired
he has won the sanrio character ranking 2026
OH HELL YEAH /gen
Behold, Green Hill Island!
(the title was "Anything Goes Island" for a while, but I didn't change it to Green Hill until at least a few weeks in lol)
My island started off with me (in the superfan outfit in the bottom middle), my dad (in front of me to the left) and Tsuzuri Yugiri (in front of me to the right).
Rest of the Miis, starting with the first row behind my dad: Queenie, Butters Stotch, Hanayo Koizumi, Rin Hoshizora, Hatsune Miku, Kinger, Mel (from The Pitt),
Second row, starting at the left, behind Queenie: Eli Ayase, Zooble, Kotori Minami, my mother, Sonic, Maki Nishikino, Shadow, Jax, Honoka Kousaka, Umi Sonoda, Gangle, Nico Yazawa
Third row, starting at the left, behind Eli Ayase: Tomari Onitsuka, Kana Matsuura, Mia Taylor, You Watanabe, Riko Sakurachi, Dia Kurosawa, Ryland Grace, Pomni, Nozomi Tojo, River (Kinger and Queenie's first kid), Yoshiko Tsushima, Ragatha, Ruby Kurosawa, Hanamaru Kunikida, Chika Takami, Rina Tennoji, Mari O'Hara, Natsumi Onitsuka, Wien Margarete
Last row, starting from the left behind Kanan Matsuura: Cory (Kinger and Queenie's second child), HTHAZE, Billie Eilish, Rumi (KPDH), Mami Tomoe, Homura Akemi, Kyoko Sakura, Kosuzu Kachimachi, Megumi Fujishima, Kozue Otomune, Sayaka Murano, Sayaka Miki, Madoka Kaname, Mira (KPDH), Zoey (KPDH), Tails, Angela (HTHAZE's wife), and Nagisa Momoe
I'm not stopping here though; I plan on making the last ten Miis at some point. I worked hard to design these and I WILL show them off, damnit 😤🤣
Close-ups of some designs I'm proud of

Long-ass ramble about Love Live incoming
You know how Hasunosora and Ikizulive! (the group for Love Live Bluebird) weren't in my character ranking? Well, there are a couple reasons for that.
I've known about Hasunosora ever since their debut a few years back (thanks to @/llupdates on insta lol), but I was always content with just being into U's, Aqours, Nijigasaki and (later) Liella!, so I never felt the need to get into their stuff.
And then 2024 came along. There were a lot of factors behind my not-so-healthy mental state during that year, but, long story short, I was very paranoid that being into a piece of media that could be seen as "problematic" at some point would mean that I supported those aspects of said pieces of media, and I would feel guilty. What does that have to do with Love Live?
Well, thanks to Crunchyroll's (what I call) "content warning" system - rating anime shows and movies based on potentially mature content, from violence and gore to sexualization of certain groups of characters - I came to the difficult realization that some of the Love Live content from the first two generations might not have aged well (*cough* Mari and Nozomi's pervertedness *cough cough*), and so, in a dramatic-ass move that I knew wouldn't feel right later (and it did not), I stopped supporting everything related to Love Live after a little over a decade of being into it.
I didn't touch any Love Live or Love Live-related content in 2025, and, after seeing that Umi Sonada figurine at a resale shop for less than two bucks three days into 2026, I, at first, brushed it off as a nostalgic purchase, but then, the more I looked at it and thought back, I realized something... I really freaking missed Love Live.
See, I may have added at least a dozen fandoms to my roster last year (and don't get me wrong, I treasure those very deeply), but the fandom lover in me always felt like a piece was missing, and, deep down, I knew I took away that piece when I dropped Love Live.
That figurine prompted a talk with my dad about the fact that there is no such thing as a perfect piece of media, or a perfect franchise, and there will always be something that bothers me or doesn't feel right. That being said, with the fandoms that I love, the fantastic stuff dramatically outweighs the rough aspects, and those fandoms have made me happier than I can ever put into words.
So, with his encouragement, I spent the rest of that night consuming new and old Love Live content, and occasionally crying from feeling a part of my psyche stitch itself back together.
Here's where Love Live Bluebird comes in.
The next few days consist of me finding out about some pretty crazy milestones and advancements that happened for Love Live in 2025, like their fifteenth anniversary, Aqours' Final Love Live!, and the reveal (and eventual beginning of) Bluebird, the latest generation. While I have thoroughly enjoyed revisiting the first four generations for the first half of the month, I took this weekend to properly dive into what Hasunosora and Bluebird have to offer, and they're both so good!!
So, yeah, Love Live isn't a fandom that I started posting about out of nowhere. I'm very glad I took the time to get back into it though, because it's been very good for me overall. 😊
The thing I was saying about there not being a "perfect franchise" also applies to other franchises, like Madoka Magica, which was another thing I dropped in 2024 for the same reasons I dropped Love Live for a bit. You don't have to expose yourself to the bad parts of something you love, you can acknowledge that they exist and then move on. That's all.
Everyone shut up, my boy got Found Familied 🥹🥹
