Jax in "Pilot" The Amazing Digital Circus: Episode 1 (2023)
LIELLA — HYPER GLOWING
One last haul for a while, but a great one 😊
I finished Murder Drones last night, and I love it so much; the action was awesome, the story was great, and they really amped up the horror for the last two episodes, which I love.
I knew by the fourth episode (which I watched on Saturday night) that Uzi would be my fave; she fits the "sane character in a batshit world with insane characters" trope very well, despite her edginess, and I found her very relatable. She is also a badass and her development is so good. I know N is supposed to be the adorable dork of the show (based on what I see people say about him), and, yes, N is very silly, but I personally think that label is more appropriate for Uzi.
There was never a moment in the show where my attention went elsewhere; I was either absolutely locked in whenever the show delved into the lore, or laughing at the internet humor (/pos).
Digital Circus will always be my number one from Glitch, but Murder Drones is a very close second; what a kick-ass show.
Anyways (lmao, I got so side-tracked), I love everything else I got too. It's good to see Amanda the Adventurer stuff in the wild (and I love that I got an Amanda and a Wolly, instead of two Amandas or two Wollys), my luck with the Kpop Demon Hunters cards continues to be awesome, and I believe that it is completely okay to celebrate a graduation all summer long, so I love both of those plushies too.

Part 2 of my weekend shopping!
Like I said, I don't have much motivation towards writing captions right now, but I had a super fun day, and some of the stuff I got is very special to me, like the Madoka stuff (the figures are stunning and I love the t-shirt), the plushies (especially Ribbit 😭), the adorable Kinger pendant, the Love Live figurine, and Philza. I watched two more episodes of Murder Drones last night (and will watch another two as soon as I'm done posting this lol) and decided that I love Uzi, so I love the plushie I got of her a lot 😊

I have little to no captions ideas right now, but I had an incredibly fun day, mainly due to the fantastic haul from the anime store and some stores near it.
I finally have merch of my girl!! And I've been wanting those Butters pop figures for years!! 😭
My dad found the Kotori keychain; I was on one side of the anime store looking at the plushies, and then I hear him say "Kotori?" from the middle of the store. He showed it to me, and then I said "yes," because it is beautiful.
Everything else was a very awesome surprise 😊
Sorry but thank you for staying

Watched the first couple episodes of Murder Drones tonight.
I'm not into it enough to reblog stuff from it yet but it's really good so far.
I saw a lot of discussions about it on Insta back when the finale released in 2024, so I'm familiar with the lore regarding Cyn and the Absolute Solver, but I didn't expect them to get into it in episode 2. Very excited to watch more this weekend.
Also, I got my dad to watch Puella Magi Madoka Magica about a week or so ago (he loves horror) and he just finished it tonight; he absolutely loved it, he was practically raving about the lore and overall ending to me while watching and after he finished watching it. I'm very proud of myself for recommending that to him, especially since he loves it so much.
I'm probably going to finish the Rebellion Omnibus soon so I can loan it to him before our staycation is over.
My dad also got me a bunch of cool keychains from a gacha thing from Hot Topic. The one on the top right hand corner is literally a work of art omg. Hope I get Kyoko someday, but Sayaka is great too.
We're going to the anime store tomorrow, and I really hope I find at least one thing from either Love Live, Madoka Magica, or Needy Streamer Overload, or maybe even all three if I'm lucky.
Just wanted to give y'all a small update on what I've been into lately.
We had this service the other week and everything just went bad. You know, from jump, the weather, everything, you know. It was just...it was bad. And it's really nothing I haven't seen before. Everything goes bad in restaurants, I think. By design, there's something completely untenable about them. It's a dangerous profession. It's a nerve-racking profession. It's just very, um...it's very hard. But the obstacles, the hurdles, that's kind of...that's the juice. You know? And you get this real sense of accomplishment and success, but that just lasts for a minute because then you have to do the exact same thing, the exact same way, with a new set of obstacles the next day. And I think for a long time, I, um— Sorry, the better way to say that would be the whole time I've been doing this thing, I think I just...I wanted to get to the end of the day. Like I just wanted to get through that shit. Like I wanted to, um...survive it. And I...I didn't want to know my co-workers. I didn't care to care for them. I just, I saw them as tools to help me survive in the kitchen. And the other day...I mean, it really was, it was the worst service I have ever been apart of, just a complete and utter shit show. And it wasn't the staff, you know, it was these circumstances. And um, I know that if I had been in charge, if I had been the head chef, I would've made it worse. Like I would've survived, but, um, I would've made it unpleasant, because that's the way the job had made me feel. That's the way I had made myself feel. [...] And, um, this service...Everybody cared so much, and everybody tried so hard, and everybody loved so much. It didn't feel like one person trying to survive, it felt like a group of people supporting each other, trying to lift each other up. And as crazy as it got, and it did get crazy, and as out of control as it could've gotten...It never did. And just getting to watch everybody just, like, score. That was so great. Like even though it sucked, it was like...it was the most fun I've ever had.
