This is an OC that I'm debating to introduce in this timeline I'm working on or in the next part of the fanfic. This is Miri Jina and she is inspired by the scene of showing k-pop in different eras especially the trio girls that looked like they came from the early 1900s. She appears in the entertainment quarter of Boston where the trio frequently visit for drinks, girls, and of course gambling. While she had her original name on paper, her stage name is Marie and she's is the top songstress of a popular brothel funded by the Mcfadden family to help import their alcohol business. Oscar is a huge fan of the brothel especially Marie ever since she began her career. He supported her behind the scenes making sure no man ever rough her up or always there during her rehearsals. But one day before he could work up the courage to court her, her family leaves Boston back to South Korea. He doesn't get to say goodbye, only left with a note to thank him for his business and always being her number one fan. One of the girls at the club also informed him that her parents were given a marriage proposal from a wealthy man back in Korea. She left with her family at the first ship off, never seen again.

She like Triana makes a big reveal in the future, but when she comes into light is where I'm debating during my current story or the next. One spoil alert I will say is she didn't make it to South Korea and has been hidden to the world until the fabric of reality causes her to come out of hiding.

I almost forgot I need to have a human sign of Casper. It's a brief form in my AU but still I love every version I've seen of his human form especially @mp.sansy very obsessed with the long hair. I tried something where he kept the curls and fluff but not as long. It's inspired by his eldest uncle, living how he had this pony tail with all the curls flowing free when they were alive. Jack was against Casper following his rule and manners as a human, he didn't want to go down his path that led to so many deaths.

Anyway, I have more OCs to designs that are either gonna be in the first or second part of my AU.

Here are my two main OCs for my fanfic Ashes of A Broken Promise. They both meet the ghostly trio in different time spans but one is led in the road of mysteries and learning the supernatural and her lost past. The other is led to broken promises, betrayal and infernal flames. While a distant bloodline runs in Terra, she has no idea of her ancestry after her parents were killed in a car accident and she survived. Triana never had the chance to have a family, all taken from the one she truly trusts to save her and her mother from the Hell her savior was born into. Two souls, two lives one path that can either lead to enteral peace or burning vengeance.

This scene I had in my head when Tio finds Jack super tired in the morning and grumpier than usual. They later find out that Jack was called by the bartender of his favorite pub and Ethan had too much to drink after suspiciously winning several rounds of poker with the locals. Jack has to go up and get to the bar at 3am only to find Ethan losing in a brawl. Jack of course comes in and annihilates the other drunken cowards and drags Ethan's drunk body home battered with torn clothes. It has become almost a nightly ritual and luckily Jack instructed his servants to tell him when Ethan had these nights so he could hide it from their father. Tio understands but knows Ethan's drinking problem has gotten worse as they get older especially now when Jack, Oscar and Ethan have joined the family's liquor business.

And now we have Stinkie's human form Ethan! This was a super fun one to draw, really get his personality out and I love drawing his buck teeth! I know his full size he looks tall but in my AU, he is the shortest of the brothers including J.T. I just really wanted to draw him as the thinnest of the group, matches his personality as the accountant/deal maker/gambling man. Unlike his older brother Jack who has a short fuse, Ethan likes to mess with people and get them to trigger, whether it's a deal he swindles out competitors to benefit the family liquor legacy or just himself. He never jumps into a fight, finding violence barbaric, and the mind is better to have in victory than fist. He does however have a drinking problem, after much trauma of his father's brutality for not having any aggressive bone, he forced the poor child in hard labor and nonstop tutoring to use that so called "brain" he likes to brag about. This led him to drinking especially when he closes a great deal or "wins" at a card game. The Jack and Oscar have to drag him out of bars when Ethan runs his mouth, but in a fist fight he would absolutely be destroyed.

Clean version of Leo (Fatso's human form) with extra to show his personality and his might. I really love drawing his design, big burley guy with full intimidation but really he just wants to have a peaceful life listening to music, cooking meals and never throwing a fist unless he absolutely had to. He definitely a guy who pulls off a fedora and enjoys a good cigar.

FINALLY!!!

This is how I envisioned Fatso human form. In my AU, the Trio and J.J are Irish and Italian descendants, but I wanted to make Fatso form the definition of powerful. He is the only one that took his father's side in red hair, but not as curly as both his parents. While he's built like a tank, Oscar doesn't look for fights, he finishes them when Jack and Ethan decide to bite off more than they chew. His favorite pastime is cooking and listening to music, especially at a local brothel where he has a special favorite singer from Asia that he will protect no matter who they are. His father wants him to be a fighter having the built like his first ancestors but he doesn't have the rage or aggression like his eldest brother. He puts on a show for his father, but once training over, Oscar escapes to the brothel, to cook for the girls and sees his black silk hair siren. Will clean him up soon and practice facial expressions, but so glad I could get this vision on paper!

This is my favorite sketch so far between these two. In this scene it's only been a week since Jack stumbles on Tio's secret. While this is a nightly patch up with his personal servant after getting into a bar fight, Jack is troubled that Tio or Triana's presence. Triana adjusts quickly to having their secret discovered but is annoyed that Jack is acting like a shy fool when really nothing has changed between them. Boy or girl, Tio and Triana are the same no label has to change that.

Basically...SUCK IT UP JACK!

I've been practicing character poses and this one is when Jack finds out that Tio is a young woman and not the young man who has been his best friend since childhood. This throws Jack into frantic, one thought is how he didn't realize in almost 8 years of knowing each other he not even his family realized Tio was a girl. It made his heart race from all the secrets he shared with "Tio." Then a darker thought comes to mind, his father must never find out Tio's identity, he already was breaking Tio's mother and can't do anything about it. He would fight that devil of the family, even death as punishment to protect Tio who her true name reveals (after a whisper spat when Jack shouts got another attendant attention outside Tio's bedroom) is Triana.

Okay!

So... For some reason my skin tone though practice is off on my main character Terra, but everyone else is great... Kind of?

I trust the process and Triana's forms came out beautifully. Still need practice but for my first big character concept with these markers I'm super happy. I may play with it more later and even try to digitize the piece but this is a nice intro to my two OCs.

Their relation? I will reveal more soon and when I have more time definitely get this fanfic going.

Working on some color theory and practice blending with alcohol markers. Some of the colors come out really well, some... Need works. 😅😅

I will be working on my character sign soon but I wanted to practice more to get comfortable.

Clean draft version of my previous post. Before I begin to outline and color I want to practice doing alcohol marker blending again. I love the ohahu set I got a few years ago and want to make sure I got it right before this big finale.

Fun fact, the current time OC Terra in the middle has a connection to my vengeful OC Triana but she never sees this ghost due to hiding in plain sight for most of Terra life. Triana has always been there, and Terra feels her spirit, but never knows where she is.

This is my draft of my next sketch I want to mix with color pencil and ohahu markers. I want to expand out more on my OC Triana and then current time OC Terra (in the middle). Terra life began with mystery, delivered to an orphanage when she was just a toddler. She has no idea of her family history, only having a gold necklace with a locket around her neck. Inside the locket is a charred old photo of a woman in the 1800 dressed in a beautiful light colored dress, some of the photo was burned around the woman face beyond recognition.

While it started lonely, Terra was adopted by a wonderful couple and began her life in Friendship as an avian biologist and raptor educator with her Northern Harrier rescue she calls Gandalf. While she doesn't know anyone in Friendship, she somehow becomes an omen to the trio especially Stretch who is terrified by just her hazel eyes looking at him. Even though he avoids her, Terra is drawn to him like something is telling her he knows something, possibly her past.

This scene was inspired by the song "Gravity" from the hit series Hazbin Hotel. When I began to put plot notes of this AU this scene popped into my head and I really want to make it into an animatic.

In this scene, Triana uses her powers to restrain all the Mcfadden family in her fire chains, the one of the 4 elements that can capture and hurt a ghost. In order to have her powers she made a deal with a fire Wraith, allowing her to wield fire without it hurting her if she fed it spirit cores (I think of it like the ghost orbs you see on camera view when you don't see a ghost). This is the pure existence of all life and undead, from plants, to monster sna spirits all have cores. To be able to pull one is highly abnormal, only powerful souls like Kibosh can control such power so this becomes a high alert problem that even the king can't ignore.

Spoil alert, most souls have generic bright souls, but Stretch holding an ancient bloodline that makes his core look dark and ominous.

Some rough design of the ghostly trio. I like how my digital version of Stretch came out, his sketches are still not where I want but getting there. Stinkie is how I envision him but I still need to work on Fatso. Huge inspiration from @mpsansy, there work on their Casper AU is super inspirational and gave me a confidence boost to work on this. I still have a long way to go and still more to practice but I'll be using these as refs. When I work on facial expressions and personality.

Age lineup for Triana (known as Tio when she moved to the United States with her mama to escape prostitution). No one knew she was a girl, raised by her late father in hand to hand combat and could scale any building from years of climbing up cliffs and palm trees from her home in the Caribbean. After her gruesome death, Triana wanted more suffering from the McFadden family that their ghosts and descendants would pay for what they did to her and her mother. Her soul unfinished business was vengeance, attacking a Wraith with the power of fire to possess her ghost form and give her the ash covered bride look. When she's enraged, she takes more of a fire spirit form that can burn the living and the dead to ash, their existence turned into nothingness as if they never existed.

This one of my OC Triana Diaz for my Casper fanfic, Ashfall from a Broken Promise. This is plot line when she lost everything even her own soul and wants to destroy everything that lead to this moment. I have notes, playlists and everything to start writing but I really want to get an image of my OCs and my au version of the McFadden family

The armor on Triana ghost is inspired by a light medial armor with flame color fabric from the Caribbean indians warriors wearing red feathers or fabric. I also wanted a wedding shaw rather than her hair to show what was lost from the choice of her first love for a heart breaking reminder. Her arms and tail are coated in ash and rage poisoning her spirit, an unsettled vengeance that will never burn out.

I will post more about the storyline and plots but right now it's just a bunch of character practice and fine tuning my style.
