Oh shit for real? Sweet, I'll totally take you up on that offer and I actually do have an idea (legit did not have it in mind until this afternoon. Like, I wasn't ready to ambush you right away I swear.) but anyway, I actually have two ideas (that can either be separate stories or merged.) Not sure if you're from the US, but today was 4th of July which is a national holiday and so I spent part of the day setting off pop-its, colored smoke bombs, and later we'll have sparklers. (No fireworks though, it's something handled by my community on a specific day (bc why 4th of July amirite?) So in the spirit of the day I thought it would be a cute idea to see the reader celebrating with Rafe. The other idea that I had was to see Rafe taking care of a kid (not necessarily his own, maybe leads to the question of wanting kids or not). Maybe the reader has to babysit for Elena or they come across a kid who's been separated from their parent(s). And that leads to the idea of merging the ideas (again, your decision.) If you did, I think it would be interesting if the reader celebrated the 4th with their family (Rafe/kid) and the Drakes (also including side characters like Nadine and Sully). But in any case I'm sure you'll do wonderful no matter what you do. :D
