He is a half-wood elf/Yuan-Ti mix. (Because of lore) They go by any pronouns, he/she/they because they are intersex. He is a monk class. :>

“Hey big guy,” Scanlan muttered when he got in full view of Grog (...), “I won’t hurt you.” Looking over his face, taking in the differences he noticed. Grog was shorter, though not by a margin he found significant, his muscles not quite as well formed as they were as Scanlan knew him. His face looked younger, though Scanlan’s grasp on Goliath aging was far too minimal to tell him an exact age.
The knot in his stomach told him that the Grog in front of him was far younger than he’d ever be comfortable with.
Hey, you know how sometimes reading a fic gives you a mental picture that's clear as day? This moment from chapter 2 of @ghostofwhitestone's Ballads of Before (go read it!) did and for once I was able to do something about it. (I kinda got carried away ^^')
For context, the story is an alternate "are you worthy of this Vestige" test for Vox Machina, where each has to be there during one of another's darkest moments, provide solace, and NOT try to change the event, especially with violence. For the moment there's only a prologue and one chapter up. How the others will fare, well, time will tell...
I love the alternative idea! And need to see the others! Like with Percy or something :0 little percyyyyy!!! Any and all of them!
Earlier this month, we were chatting on the Pikelan Discord about characters' hair and @whisker-biscuit mentioned liking the idea of Scanlan mostly for angst reasons ("Someone forcefully cutting his hair or it getting burned and he tries to salvage it"). Of course our imaginations ran with the idea and we might just be trying to co-write a fic, but since I'm currently stuck on it I thought I'd trying drawing it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
…and then I had to make things better ^^' I like the idea of early days Pike (since her TLOVM version can regrow hair) trying out this new spell and putting a little too much juice in it :D
