She refused to look at him, knowing she would break if she did. So Alyx simply shook her head, a scoff falling from her lips. “I’m sorry, too. I’m sorry that I decided to trust someone who, very obviously, can’t trust me. And I am so very sorry for all the days I spent absolutely sick with worry. And I am so fucking sorry for letting you get close enough to hurt me!” The female turned away from him and headed towards the beach. If he decided to try and follow her there, she would have the advantage. Morgan took a deep breath, and closed his eyes for a moment. The redhead understood the other's feelings, her anger-- it was warranted after all. But she didn't know why he had left, not his reasons. Although, he could assume they wouldn't matter too much to her. He sighed, as took a few steps after her. "I didn't expect anything to remain the same, and I left because I need to find out a few things," basically a few things about himself. He knew the direction she was headed, but wasn't worried. He's not exactly delicate. "But--- I probably should leave you alone, pretty clear you're pissed," Morgan stopped walking, sighing again.

She refrained from sighing, looking away from him instead. “Should I bother to ask?”

"I'm not going to use it as an excuse," Morgan fidgeted a little, the redhead knew he had messed up. And an apology probably wouldn't fix much. "I lost touch with everyone... I'm-- really sorry."
