I cannot remember if I've ever brought it up but for my hc giblets is some shade of genderfluid + transfem. Presentation and pronoun use fluctuates, more so over longer periods of time rather than day by day. almost always somewhat fem aligned though by HOL she's not actively trying to perform femininity because. Look at the state she's in by the time you find her. does she look like she has the time to comb out and dye her hair or put on anything besides mmMMAYBE lipstick? No! There's no time or energy for that stuff! this HC mostly comes from McDonald's roles often being GNC, between his work as female characters in Kids in the Hall and how Pleakley is often in more fem presenting disguises. He's also voiced at least one female character. Anyway, though, it felt right for Giblets to be Not Cis and Not Gender Conforming.
aaand OFC they're Canadian. I don't know how you get roped into Cartel business from Canada but I've kind of thought he got stuck working with the G3 out of necessity / got himself into trouble and things spiraled from there. He needs to look like he doesn't wanna be here. He needs to look SO Haunted.
I also have Thoughts about how the hologram of him would look and how he'd look closer to his death (bc here i'd say the one on the right is circa first day of Earth invasion so she's got a couple weeks left). but that's for another day.
