Come to the Light

Nightshade was a shifter when he came out of the Well of Allsparks, but before he really fully understood what that meant and had only shifted once or twice he was sold off by a corrupt Well caretaker and stripped of his t-cog (which was subsequently sold on the black market for you-wouldn't-believe-what-sort-of-prices) before he could be assigned his caste.

The mecha who stripped him of his t-cog left him abandoned on the streets of Kaon. He was forgotten and never assigned a caste, essentially becoming a homeless vagabond on the streets.

Thankfully, stripping him of his t-cog didn't strip the shifter of a shifter's naturally adaptability. Nightshade learned how to live through stealing and other shady methods. He became fairly well-known in the streets streets, eventually earning himself a place as a minor crime boss.

Nightshade suffered quite a bit of shapism for his inability to transform, and that angered him enough that he joined the Triple M Movement (borrowing on IDW lore here. Don't see why they couldn't have existed in primeverse, too~)

His abilities 'managing money' meant that he moved up through the ranks of the Triple M pretty fast. He now works as the treasurer for the Iacon Branch of the Triple M Movement.

He's actually quite polite and pretends to care, but he probably doesn't actually give a hoot about you.

He thinks quite highly of himself. He's a prideful little wretch.

After this first what? He hardly knew the answer to that. But he didn't have the time to think about it. The seekers frame brushed against his still hard cable and that sent him into his second overload, transfluid dribbling from the tip and leaking across the other's frame. For some reason, he was too embarrassed to watch and he'd seen the sight a thousand times. Instead, he buried his faceplates in the others armor and moaned quietly.
