Naomi Show First Look Released By CW

“Based on the DC character created in 2019 by Brian Michael Bendis, David F. Walker, and Jamal Campbell, the series follows Naomi (Kaci Walfall), a cool, down-to-earth teenager who runs a popular fan site about Superman. “Naomi will be relatable to a lot of people,” says Walfall, 17. “The big question of the show is, Who am I? Elton Clay Fax (1909 – 1993)     

“Starting in 1945 and running through the late 1940s, Elton Clay Fax  drew a biographical panel cartoon entitled They’Il Never Die, depicting Black notables.

Throughout his career, Fax illustrated over thirty books and numerous magazine articles. 

He wrote extensively on black culture as well, publishing several books and regularly contributing essays to a variety of magazines and newspapers. “

The 19th Amendment Did Not Liberate Black women

“The heroes a society accepts say a lot about the values they share. The original American heroes, the Founding fathers, were white men who never regarded Black people or women equally. Despite their violent, sexist, and racist ideology, Americans continue to put these men on pedestals, capitulating to their determination to commit genocide against Indigenous people and exalting them despite their embrace of slavery. 

These men are not heroes to Black people, and they should not be heroes to many Americans. Turning a blind eye to tyranny is not chivalrous; it’s obscene.
