โ ฐ. low activity, selective multimuse for both original and canon characters from george rr martin's a song of ice and fire/fire and blood universe. established sept. 5, 2022. my portrayals lean more towards book canon, though i do take influence from the show's portrayals of some characters. that being said, most of the muses on this blog - both already established by grrm and not - are heavily influenced by my own interpretations and headcanons.

โ ณ. i absolutely love to plot, but i am absolute ass at it if it's not incoherent ramblings about our muses. i try my best, and mutuals may add my discord (beccanutz) so we can incoherently scream about our muses together. talking about our muses/plots is a surefire way to keep my muse up for our interactions, almost guaranteeing faster replies.

the days since his departure had become a hazy mess of events all blurred into one โธบ the journey towards oldtown, the blows shared between brothers, the threats of dragging mikal back by the ankle if that's what it came to, and the ambush that came in the dead of night. mikal had died, that much he could remember, and he had returned to sunspear on the brink himself. what came next was fragmented memories at best; the sickly sweet, chalky taste of milk of the poppy on his tongue, the blindingly searing heat pressed into his side, an echo of crunching bones as maesters worked to reset his leg in place. when he finally opens his eyes with some clarity and emily is at his side, cedrik almost mistakes her for the maiden.
@hrtached places a gentle but firm hand on his shoulder.
the action grounds him to reality, stops him long enough to allow himself take a deep breath and shift his gaze to her face. time slows and he grows dizzy again, pain and grief and anger all catching up to him at once. one hand raises to press against her shoulder, the other reaching out behind him into the mattress below, steadying himself as eyes fall closed. โ much needs to be done, โ through a clenched jaw are words spoken, sharp agony shooting through his being bitten down and swallowed.
he attempts again to push himself away from the mattress despite the particular tenderness felt in his right leg. a sigh of frustration follows, irritation stinging his eyes โธบ he had failed more than his brother, his efforts fruitless, how could he look his mother in the eyes after this ? cedrik had gone against the counsel of everyone that had faithfully advised his father before him, had been confident and steadfast in his ability to return to sunspear with mikal in tow, unharmed. and what of them now ? he, broken, and his brother in a ditch somewhere. โ i held him as he died, โ he finally speaks, soft and shaky. he thinks, at least; he can see dark hair and blood splayed out against his lap, fingers tight against the wound at his neck. he looks to the hand on her shoulder, and beneath the nail is crusted shades of brown and deep red, evidence enough to him. finally, he sinks back into the pillows and stares at the canopy above him. โ i promised to bring him home and i left him behind. i have to bring him home, for my mother. โ
