Word ramble cause I can’t do this anywhere else.

Persona 3 is a game that I can truly say, is something that saved my life. I played it over summer break 3 years back and I couldn’t stop sobbing after finishing. After that I swore to pay tribute to the game once I graduated, which leads us to today.

The sprite art is actually based on a location in my school, where I tend to stay, when I need a break. The place gets wind a lot so feeling the fresh breeze while watching people walk by grounds me. I had the chance to sit there again, with my graduation beca on me, just watching as the sun sets. At that moment, I felt as if I was Makoto, lying down on Aigis’ lap.

While parents were congratulating their children for achieving academic awards, my parents left early because they couldn’t bear to see my underwhelming efforts. As I sat there, no medal, just my diploma, I thought to myself, “well, at least I’m here.”

There were so many times during the last two years where I would go to bed sobbing, overly stressed from my work, debating on whether or not I’d continue the day after. And I did, day after day, week after week, even if I kept on telling myself it’d be my last.

I think this ties perfectly into persona 3’s story, where death, is inevitable—that’s why we make the most of life. So after going through all of that, can I really tell myself that I did well? I may not have a shiny gold medal, but I still showed up, even when I mentally thought of not seeing tomorrow. Is this view everything I fought for?

I can’t put the rest of my thoughts into words, but I feel really sleepy, so I’ll end it at that.
