tbh i think ppl already logged out of their rk accs so this is probably something that will not be seen but i still want to write it as a way of closure, something that’s on my muses blogs whenever i find my way back on them once in a while to reminisce. i feel sad and nostalgic making this post because a huge part of my life has come to an end and it took me almost a full week to digest it — i’ve been in rookies for almost five years and it were some of the greatest years i ever had. while i leave this roleplay behind with regrets because of irl keeping me from being active these past months, all the solos and ideas i haven’t written, visual posts and potential social media posts i had saved for a later time, i want to focus on the good things;
and there were a lot of them.
i met so many amazing people here, made so many friends that i hope i’ll keep for a lifetime and i developed greatly as a writer. got to see my muses grow and struggle and form bonds with all those different personalities, with the muses of the friends i made and people i met and it was so much fun. i’ll never forget it, i’ll never forget any of you. thank you for everything. i’ll never forget those one and a half years i got the chance to be on the mod team and work with them to make the roleplay i love so much an even more enjoyable place. i learned a lot too while i got to carry that title, had such a great time on the team and even though some things, some times, were complete shit, i enjoyed this so much and i’ll miss it. i’ll miss being mod lari, i’ll miss the team, our conversations in the mod chat. kyle, razel, bianca, keith, gab, mir and carly too, thank you so much.

You do care. You care so much it’s eating you away. You hate the fact that you care so much but it’s the only thing you know how to do but you constantly lie to yourself just so you can get through the day.
it’s a feeling of restlessness that kept him from falling asleep. that had him roll from one side to the other until he couldn’t take it anymore, until it had him slide out of bed and get dressed to slip past his passed out father on the couch and get outside. a familiar feeling, a familiar situation. it’s what he thinks when he finds himself in front of a building that he knows very well. somewhere he shouldn’t be as often as he is -- he does sports, takes care of his body a lot and tries to be healthy. to eat healthy.
it doesn’t stop him from pushing the doors to the mcdonalds store open.
the smell of burned oil and fries is gross but fast food is his vice, shoving burgers and milkshakes down his throat when he’s feeling like this giving him the comfort he craves and needs. seungwoo can’t quite get that somewhere else. so he gives in every single time. he makes a beeline for the counter as his eyes are skimming the rather empty restaurant; only a few patrons are sitting here and there on their own.
but there’s someone that catches his attention. someone sitting in the far back with a cap hiding away his hair and a hoodie that looks exactly like one of his hugging the familiar frame. huh. seungwoo’s lips curl up and he forgets every thought about ordering and makes his way to the boy in the back, falls into the seat in front of him. “jinwook,” he says and immediately reaches over to grab a few of his fries, “we have to spot meeting like this.” that happens too often as well. seungwoo meeting the other here during one of his stress-eating sprees. “what are you doing? you shouldn’t even be here in the first place.” an idol, sitting at mcdonalds in the dead of the night. it he were recognized that wouldn’t look good for him.

fingers tap on the surface of the table almost impatiently, drumming a messy rhythm as his other hand has his cheek cupped in it, gaze glued to the huge window by his side. he’s watching the people hurrying past in the light drizzle to keep himself from checking his phone yet again. did so about five times in the past three minutes -- taking a peek of the time, waiting for a text message to come in to inform him about why she’s taking so long.
it’s interesting that euijin even agreed to meet up when he wrote her two hours ago in an embarrassingly weak moment of nostalgia and remembering everything about her.
she’s told him that she’ll be at the coffee shop in fifteen minutes and that was almost an hour ago despite it being close to the location of her dorm, has seungwoo expecting that she’ll just cancel on him. that she’ll just stand him up like she’s done so many times before. ( it’s stupid that he tries over and over again, isn’t it? but he keeps telling himself that he’s just trying to maintain an important friendship. or whatever they are. ) he sighs and frowns, giving in and reaching for his cellphone when someone slides into the booth, in the seat across him. despite her disguise, seungwoo recognizes her immediately.
“oh,” he says and he doesn’t want to show his surprise so there’s the hint of a smirk on his lips as they curl up a little, “how kind of you to actually show up, didn’t think you would. did you have to climb out of the window to get out of there?” tilting his head lightly to the side, seungwoo takes a look at her. “you want something to drink?”

hello!! it’s time for a late introduction ( i had to go find some seungwoo gif icons first dkjsd ) – so here we are!! actually this is not a new muse but a revamp of my old jaehwan muse that was here around march last year. i kinda missed him and wanted to bring him back ever since i let him go and now felt like a good time. i fell for seungwoo a while ago and felt like he fit well for the muse jaehwan had a different og fc that was taken when i wanted to bring him in so i picked him as fc and changed some of the ideas i had for him but with seungwoo i’m bringing those back bc they work well with him so i’m very excited!!! 🥰🥰 we both can’t wait to get started actually!! for whoever wants to get a first glance at him can check out his profile page right here, or check out the info under the cut. his plot page isn’t ready yet but i’ll get that done and up in a seperate plot call while i get through all those welcoming messages, thank you for all of them!!

he’s 22.
born in busan but moved to seoul as a kid. hasn’t really gotten much out of the city except for visiting his grandparents back in busan or for competitions.
his mom died when he was 12 due to illness. he’s still hurting but likes to act like he’s ‘over it’.
his father became depressed after her passing and started to neglect him throughout his teenage years. they don’t have a good relationship with each other.
this had seungwoo looking for any kind of attention from him -- negative one, meaning getting in trouble as much as he could. smoking, skipping class, shoplifting. getting in fights, failing exams and a general attitude. the more he got together with the police the more he hoped his father would finally care for him. ( which never worked )
after managing to graduate from high school and even getting through the college entrance exams his father pushed him to do his military service to fix his attitude.
it did, but he also developed a very competitive streak ( he had it before but it got so much worse ) and saw that as a new way to grab his father’s attention; through being the best at everything and winning. everything is a competition to him, even walking down the stairs. which makes him even better at sports than he used to be before but more unlikeable at the same time.
plays soccer in his free time and is also the team’s captain. also is into competitive swimming since middle school, a passion his mother has always supported. his bad attitude often got him almost kicked from his team. he’s known in the community for winning a lot of competitions.
currently studying at kyungee university and majoring in sports science. thinking about switching his major to pharmacy or doing a double major.
loves singing and recently discovered dancing, a new passion of his.
also likes playing instruments and uploading covers on his youtube channel. also tracks his dance progress on there.

( — he swallows thickly. so many things went wrong after his mother died and he wishes for nothing more than to undo all of them. ; ) my father never got over my mom’s death and it made him treat me like shit. and that made me do bad things as well just to get a minute of his attention. he was drunk a lot, never looked at me no matter what i did and when he did … . it ended in— ( — a pause, a deep breath. ; ) —in too many bruises to count. for a while, when his grip on me was too harsh and i got him at the wrong time. i didn’t understand, i was hurting too and we needed each other. i needed him and his comfort and his love but he didn’t give me anything. it was so lonely. and i know that my mom would’ve never treated me this way. ever. everything would’ve been better for me, us, if he would’ve been the one to die.
it would be a lot easier to ask me what i don’t miss. ( — a sigh is easy to slip past his lips, gaze dropping low. ; ) i miss everything about her. her warm smile, her comforting hugs. her advice, her kidness. watching movies with her, her cooking. it’s this point where i even miss her scolding me. i just want her to come back … . i miss her so much.
i think it’s, hm, prhyme? there’s just something about him … . he looks very good and i love his presence on stage. i think he fits my type in general very well. ( — it makes him think about buying their album. maybe he’ll get his photocard to admire. ; )
i love movies in general. how dare you making me choose one of them? ( — there’s a frown on his face but his expression seems still rather playful. ; ) everyone that knows me a little knows that i like horror movies the most, though. so i will say ‘28 days later’ and ‘night of the living dead’. why? because zombies are the best thing about horror and you can never go wrong with the classics. i don’t know if they’re my favorite movies of all time but could watch these two movies all the time, i never get tired of them.
