Today I want to share a little of my sims spreadsheet, which I lovingly refer to as my simsheet. This is only a few snippets and blurbs. It's been a work in progress since 2021 and probably always will be as I add new things and take away old things. There's a lot more sheets, but these felt good enough to share. :-)
✨️ Default Clothing Sheet ✨️
This is a sheet dedicated to tracking my progress as I download clothing defaults. If I'm looking for a specific default I can ctrl+f and find it by name or scroll through the categories. Once I have a default in my downloads folder I go back into this sheet, change the status for it from "n/a" to "defaulted", and embed the link for it in the sparkle emoji. As you can see, I've finished toddlers so far! I'm currently on children and haven't gotten to teenagers yet.
✨️ Custom Clothing Sheet ✨️
This sheet is much older than the default clothing sheet, but you wouldn't know it because over the last six months I've updated the theme across the entire simsheet. :-) The sparkle emojis lead to a preview image and the moon emojis lead to the download page/post for each item. I think all of my custom clothing is currently from skittlesims.

This is my bread and butter. Okay... so... I decided to scrap my downloads folder and start over a few years ago. I've stuck to a process for downloading CC since then that is tedious but ultimately worth it to me. I could write it out or try to make a post with pictures if anyone would be interested! It involves editing names/descriptions, categories, a whole bunch of stuff. For this sheet in particular (and build mode) everything is exactly where it appears in game, and everything has a link to the original post. It was too big to screenshot in its entirety, haha. It's always growing. :-)

To start it off I'm updating (or trying too) every single hair I've ever converted. My main goal is redoing meshes and/or changing the swatches to EA colors exclusively.
This is going to be my main focus currently but that doesn't mean i won't post other conversions I've been working on :3 !!
The hairs in this post are both by @aharris00britney them being Beck bun and ponytail. These hairs were part of my 'roots' project from my old blog they were 2 of 5 hairs I did. I'm still working on the other 3 hairs (those being Yoko, Lilac Braids, and Nova) and will be out soon !!
Something I did differently this time around is I used the smooth assignments tutorial by @redsimmer-blog not sure if it's necessary to do for clay hair but I had fun doing it plus the hairs looks good in game :D

yo, a few months ago i made this face template of one of these sims ivy-sims extracted and been using it in my own gameplay since, didn't really bother sharing it, but seeing other ppl also pretty disappointed with the fact most custom face templates are white-centric i thought "i guess i might as well share this one since i've already made it, someone might find it useful"
it has an infant life stage just like those templates i've made, thanks to non default face archetype with baby files by meowingcookie
this template has adjustments to all the life stages to make the face features more consistent, as they're originally not (for example, if one were to change the original extracted sim to male, the face shape would've been square for some reason, unlike in this template)

I can't believe I've finally made it!!!! I first started working on this overlay in 2024, I tried like three times to create a box, but it wouldn't work. So I settled for replacing a texture I don't use in another box with mine and putting it on my sims. But I've always wanted to upload it, because I think this is a very needed item. After a long fight I finally understood overlays very well and learned how to make them. And I'm so happy that I can upload this box now!
So, what is this? It's an overlay box that contains only one swatch that covers your sim's palms, making them look more realistic on dark-skinned sims. I tried to pick a tone that would be quite universal, it can be used starting with skins around S3 and all the way to the darkest skin tones. The texture is handpainted, I did my best trying to optimize it to look good on the Maxis hand mesh, but there might obviously be imperfections because both the mesh and the texture are quite simple. The texture is unfortunately a bit pixelated; as I've mentioned, I had put it in a different package for personal use at first, and it appears that I don't have the original image file anymore, so I had to pull it out of my game and then back into the game, which... probably didn't help its quality, but it's the best I could do. I think it looks gorgeous, pixelated or not. And if you're not zooming in too closely, it's not even noticeable.
To use this, you just have to place the overlay "box" object on your lot and choose "Add Light Palms" in the pie menu. There is also an option to remove the overlay. The object can be found in Miscellaneous/Dressers for §0. I based it on a mesh made for TS4 by yourdorkbrains and converted to TS2 by trishasimma. It looks like this:
