“Excuse me, I know this is random,” Louis said politely as he tried to get the strangers attention, “but I’m a bit new to town, I just finished unpacking actually and I wanted to celebrate my– new beginnings– but, yeah, point is I just moved in… I don’t know my way around here yet. Think you could tell me where a good place to grab a drink is? Or show me?”

You know, you’re the only one who can actually say something like that and pull it off. If someone else were to try it would just feel like a line from them, but from you it actually feels like a compliment,” he mused, glad to see how easy it was for them to slip into their flirtatious rapport; no matter where they were. “I’d say the same of you, but I’m not really a fan of repitition,” Ethan teased as he moved to press his back against the racks of herbs and supplies, his chest close to Seth’s as he stood between his coven member– his best friend– and the shelves. “I could show you though, rather than having to sound like a broken record… hardly anyone is here.” Leaning forward with a playful glint in his eyes, Ethan lingered close to Seth before falling out of his personal space so he could stand at his side again, “but you’re a man on a mission here and I’d hate to distract you. Though if he must confine ourselves to only spending money on things we need, which for me is you, then you should probably let me pay once you’re done collecting everything.”

“You know there’s no need, either way whoever buys it it’ll still be going towards the coven.” Seth stated to the other as he was checking things off of his list rapidly, one thing after the other making it’s way into his tote bag that had seen better days now. “What are you even doing in here anyway?” He asked the other, not that he was complaining that Ethan was here. It just seemed odd for the ‘leader’ of the group to actually be doing some errands, though Seth never really saw Ethan as a leader. More a best friend, a brother, and maybe even a lover at times. Though that was a feeling that was constantly swallowed, he wouldn’t want to complicate their friendship/relationship any further. It was an odd one, but one that he held very close to his beating heart that swirled in the motions of Ethan’s presence. 

A laugh managed to spill over plump lips at the blunt question that came from the warlock next to him, the laugh deep and throaty, and he couldn’t help but shake his head. “Isn’t it obvious? To ward myself of any poison,” the man simply stated. The potion was to be used to combat any poison that he came across. “For precaution, mostly. You never know when you might be greeted with an arrowhead dipped in toxins.” Maybe he shouldn’t have blurted such information out, not knowing if there were hunters nearby… but he did, at the very least, want the other to be aware of the possibility. “Does this look right for what I need?”

It was of course an OBVIOUS reason, you couldn’t be too careful these days in Salem. Hunters lurked the shadows awaiting for a simple creature like themselves to be alone, and before you knew it you were simply DEAD. Another trophy to the hunters name, and a blessing to the oath that they had once made. It was repulsive and outrageous that the supernatural and paranormal were hunted for simply existing as whom they were, but then again when has humanity ever done anything logical? Seth was more than happy to help somewhat with a protection potion, so his eyes skimmed across lined words making sure that the potion would be as effective as possible. “If I were you I would swap this for holly, it’s known to be more protecting and LUCKY than this.” His fingers trailed across inked words, pointing out what would fit accordingly. “Anything else?” He asked as if he worked there. 

Kyle had been feeling anxiety about being in such a town that was full of supernatural creatures. He came to the remedies shop to try and find something he could do to ease his fears and troubles. He stood beside the male and looked over at him. “Hey, dude,” he whispered before looking around. “Do you think they sell pot here? I’ve had a lot going on the past week and I just need to chill.” He kept his tone low in case someone heard him. But he also hoped he hadn’t offended the man.

The whole sneaking up thing was never the best of ideas, on anyone for that matter. Seth quickly spun his head at the sound of Kyle, not knowing what it was the boy wanted until he explained a little further into the sentence. “I don’t think it’s that kind of herb shop, though they do prescriptions for that stuff.” It wasn’t the best approach being all proper about drugs such as weed, it was a natural controlled substance. “Though I’m sure it’s easy to get some.” Seth said to the younger man, feeling bad that he couldn’t help ones anxiety.

Though the demon wasn’t one that practiced his use of magic often, save for only in times of play, he found himself in a local herb shop in the hopes to gather some ingredients for a potion he was wanting to make. He had gotten it from an old grimoire in his collection, but he couldn’t help but think that it looked… wrong. Just as he was about to give up, a man turned down his aisle and he cleared his throat, able to sense he was a witch from the energy he could feel coming off of him. “Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could help me. I’m looking to make a particular brew and I was wondering if these ingredients looked right to you,” he spoke, angling the paper in his hands towards the other’s direction as he glanced at him with a small smile. “I just can’t help but think it looks wrong.”

Seth was interrupted, but he didn't mind as it seemed one needed help and advice on such things that they weren't familiar with. The witch gazed down at the list that was for some potion of course, though it seemed that ingredients seemed to be mistaken for ones that were correct. “What does someone like you, want with a potion like this?” He would of asked, but rudeness and curiosity seemed to get you know where but trouble. So Seth tried to keep his mouth shut but couldn't let the question slip, of course he were to help regardless of answers. The man was just curious as to what the other who stood before him wanted with a brew that would cast such things into Salem, not that he cared whether it fell in dark or magic of light. Simply CURIOUS.

Ethan was simply walking through the local herbs and remedies shop, trying to waste his idle time by doing something seemingly productive, when he saw Seth. Unable to help himself, the warlock changed his course because to him the obvious choice for a distraction right now wasn’t the shop itself but the fellow witch in it. “You should probably add comfrey root to your list, and maybe some muira puama roots and stems… for personal use…”

“I think you’re the walking epitome of muira puama roots and stems... or at least mine.”  Seth said, pleasantly surpised with the presence of his leader, and not to mention what you could call his best friend. With no flinch or time between them the flirting seemed to seamlessly make its way back between them both, which was no surprise of course. “So I think spending money on things which we actually need, would be more of a sensible idea.” The witch spoke to him with smirks falling across his features, not just his lips.
